I watched Athena before Iris, I don't think Iris is better tbh. They both have their flaws. Watching these type of series (national security/spy) you'd think they aren't very forgiving when protocols are broken (24) but it's just not the case.... A lot of broken moments from both of them. They are still nice to watch I guess.
Watching Deep Rooted Tree, it's good. There are 2 plots going on that are both very interesting, and they merge at some point. If you have (even only a little) interest in Korean history/culture, you should watch this.

So my friend practically forced me to watch dream high. I had really low expectations because I typically don't like teen/highschool dramas and I especially don't like musicals or anything that reminds me of glee.
I ended up watching the whole show in 2 days..
I'm still surprised at how much I enjoyed it. While there are flaws in both acting and writing, I was honestly surprised at how mature and profound some of the themes and developments were. It seemed very genuine in parts and not cheesy or forced like I expected. Sure, some of the characters are goofy and one dimensional but overall it was an extremely enjoyable show and I quickly found myself unable to stop watching.
Overall a great surprise to me. I never thought I'd say this but Dream High was a great drama and I recommend it.

help me kdt. Once again i've fallen into the sinkhole of korean drama. Now im watching fashion king and its sucking me deeper. Guess i have a soft spot for hot girls and down and out of luck story lines..

+ Show Spoiler +was getting good and suddenly....... story line goes flat, i am not sure what the heck ga young is doing working for the chae bol and den staying in his house overnight (wtf)
rooftop prince
+ Show Spoiler +humor is dying down and story line is picking up pace, digging yoo chun and that level 1 kim tae hee lookalike lol

+ Show Spoiler +still my favorite of the lot, and if the comments on dramabeans are indicative of a k-drama having international appeal, i am not the only one. EP12 with HJW was amazing
