+ Show Spoiler + That antagonist evil chap / spoiled shit is out of place. He's too evil for how they portrait the other characters. Ha Ji Won is supposed to be one hell of a character. But then the character is just not realistic. Lee Seung Gi is alright I guess and the King is good. Even Fashion King has less silly humor and more serious mode business. Gonna go for DeepRootedTree now I think, I think that one is more serious.

Well assuming that you're not Korean, why do you like those old-time dramas... like where they take place in the old Korean times or w/e. My parents love them, since they're old lol. I hate all the old Korean talking with weird words lol

I am sad it's all over now =/// Can anyone recommend me anything else ?? ? So far I've seen: Dream High (s2 is bad) My girlfriend is a 9-tailed fox My Princess Boys over Flowers Flower Boy Ramyun Shop Playful Kiss You can try Smile, You. It's 45 episodes, but really cute. I've seen probably around 50 dramas, including all those you've seen. Smile, You is my #1 favorite. It's really sweet and funny, the lead actress is amazing Lee Min Jung, if you know her. Smile, You Protect The Boss IRIS (more action drama rather than love, really good though) The Moon That Embraces The Sun (Historical Drama, probably heard it before since it's popular atm) If you like Lee Min Jung and havn't seen them yet I would highly recommend her latest movies "Wonderful Radio" and "Cyrano Agency". Seriously she is the most beautiful woman on earth qq

The setting is perfect for a good strong story about the situation of N/Skorea in a monarchy. But there is too much childish humor. I'm not really amused by it, I'm a huge fan of both Ha Ji Won and Lee Seung Gi but I can't get into it... It's a shame because people like it so much. I totally expected it to be a very serious drama. Not the case. + Show Spoiler + That antagonist evil chap / spoiled shit is out of place. He's too evil for how they portrait the other characters. Gonna go for DeepRootedTree now I think, I think that one is more serious. its gonna get more serious in plot but i dont think the humor is gonna change. + Show Spoiler + ha ji won's introduction as being trained in "king" assassination suggests she is gonna kill the club M villain (who considers himself a king). still, i am not sure how more serious this drama can get. the allusions it uses are necessary for a general audience, to take a more realistic step would alienate them (just like Peninsula) further.

I hate all the old Korean talking with weird words lol Is that why not a lot of Old-time drama are introduced here? The first Kdrama I watched was actually a dubbed version of Dae Jung Geum, it was very epic. And I'm Chinese, I am quite used to watching a lot of these drama's. Nothing wrong with historical dramas tbh. And my mother's been watching a lot of dubbed historical korean drama ^^ Their constumes and all that seem to be quite interesting. The setting is cool. I've watched a few historical films, but 1.5-2 hours is a little different than 16-30+

I hate all the old Korean talking with weird words lol Not all olden-time dramas are serious! Dong Yi has its fair share of light hearted moments, and Hong Gil Dong is a romatic comedy (with sad, sad parts...) But yeah, I find it strange listening to ancient Korean after watching a series of modern Kdramas. Still, it doesn't detract from the joy of watching a good drama, regardless of the time period it is set it!
