Not really all that spoilerish, but: + Show Spoiler +I don't really find Seunggi a believable leading man though, seems more suited to comedic relief support couple roles. Is he even considered good looking? Gumiho was amazing in spite of that somehow, so I'm giving this a chance.
And then there is Jiwon, who has odd charms. Looks completely plain one minute and beautiful the next. Insufferable aegyo for a girl her age, too.
Main gripe with it so far is the amount of English being spoken, it's cringeworthy every single line for me, and I have a feeling there will be much, much more to come. Oh, and the fucking magic guy. The idea for the character is amazing, the actor playing him seems the right guy for the job, but somehow it's just awkward the way it's being presented.
lool totally get what you mean about seunggi, watched the first couple of episodes of gumiho to get an idea of his "feel" when i heard he was gonna be lead in k2h and he seems to be playing the same character for the first couple of episodes. if you think about it, hjw isn't the stereotypical "kim tae hee / lee min jung / song hye kyo" mold either and i feel that this makes their chemistry much more exciting than say, song seunghun and kim tae hee.
the magic guy seems to be inspired by death note's near but... he looks kinda old to be psycho... i thought his character would have been better portrayed by some smart looking teenager if they were going all out for outrageous.

Im for some reason aswell not a huge fan of Seungi in his current role, I like him more as a bit of a goofy guy, butt hen again MGIAG kinda imprinted that onto me. Ha Ji won has a certain charm to her that other ones don't have, shes a bit of a ''stronger woman'' if that makes sense while being cute, also her face and skin color is different, I am not sure if I like it more then the others, but it is certainly different and intersting.

I don't think I've seen anyone talk about it, soo..
How was Salamander Guru? Worth watching? I know it has a bunch of idol cameos, so I'm already a little turned off, but I'm still curious from people who have seen it.

Episodes 3 and 4 of King 2 Hearts were actually just hour long SNSD commercials :D

I dislike hjw with a passion; her acting is boring and seems forced. but she's riding a wave of popularity after secret garden so I guess I'll have to put up with her.

Huh, I found that the story line was one of the weaker aspects of the drama:
+ Show Spoiler [Ending/Plot] +In the first 10 episodes or so, it's basically the same thing repeated 6? 8? times: Baek Ho time travels back, changes something, but fails to get Yi Seul. The freshness of the time travel idea kinda got stale after a few episodes, and it felt like they were trying to stall for time.
Also, the Conductor being Baek Ho's father was so predictable and unoriginal (eg. Secret Garden.) With absolutely no consequence or cost to taking time travel potions, including the last one, the story line played out like a fairytale, using magic to explain away any plotholes.
To be fair, there were many details that were planned out nicely, which added a touch of realism and completeness to the story.
Both Park Eun Bin and Yoo Seung Ho grew up so well! They are perfect as the leads!

equator man: first 3.5 episodes is the childhood story. was really promising but the adult cast totally sucks from ep 4 onwards. dropping

Really torn about DH2, I loved DH1 but thinking of watching the sequal feels like a betrayal to Suzy and IU (lol). Know this is an old post but I just finished DH2. It started off pretty bad, but I got into it around episode 8 or so. Some of the acting is bad (to be expected with a mostly idol cast) but I got caught up anyway. Not the best drama but not as shitty as people make it out to be. If you're even slightly interested I'd give it a shot.

ok sooo just finished lie to me , and i should hav elistented to you guys about it not being that good >.> , it started ok ended not to badly but it just wasent that bad the lead girl was just rediculous , she may be cute but im not sure about her acting capabilitys , im not sure what to watch next , i was looking on the viki homepage and nothing really poped now im sad i dont have any dramas to watch D;

Go watch Fashion King now guys, everyone that reads this. Hands down best kdrama. Yes, I like it more than Secret Garden, Iris or Athena.
edit* Yoo Ah In so good in this. And that other fellow Lee Je Hoon is awesome aswell. I'm thoroughly surprised by the quality of acting in this one. The story really gets me somehow. It has humor at the right time and drama is intense, strengthened by their acting I guess. Ah Ep6 is strong. At least there wasn't that many scenes with Yuri talking English, it was fine. This Je Hoon fellow has decent English but obviously not from abroad but it's much better than what I'm used to.
Everytime Shin Sekyung says "Hello" or "Goodbye" I melt a little a bit from the inside
Gonna watch K2H soon I think, might aswell.

Meh, I'm watching it but it's not grabbing me. Shin SeKyung's character is so boring (thankfully she is smoking hot, because her acting seems to be sad puppy and not much else) and a few other characters equally so. Yuri seems to be a decent actress though, which surprised me. I'm just glad they got away from the Engrish quickly, those U.S. scenes were painful.
The male lead is carrying the drama tbh, aside from SeKyung eye candy, which is something you normally wouldn't catch me admitting.

I'm enjoying K2H way more than Fashion King. The plot in Fashion King is really bland.. and I guess I'm only watching because of the two hot female leads.
And I don't think Yuri is a good actor.
|
I mean decent for idol standards. Her character is believable at least, but she won't be winning any oscars.
|
yuri is decent, but fashion king is really nothing special besides its cast, a drama might pull a couple of heart strings here and there just on the performances of its leads but it is average at best when the plot / themes are just a sampling of the good practices we have seen before.
rooftop prince recently overtook K2H in tv ratings, i haven't caught up with the former... though it must.. be doing something revolutionary... because the last few episodes of K2H have been stellar

No Feast of the Gods love in here?

Where do you guys find k2H subs?
