As far as I know there's just dubstep and liquid dubstep. The way I see it is there's the really heavy stuff that just sounds like they're spamming a ton of random sounding noises and such. Some call this brostep. Then there's liquid dubstep which you can see here. Everything in the middle I would just consider dubstep.

I'm not one to be petty about genre specifying. Though it would be nice to maybe have some subgenres just to make it easier to find the good stuff. The dubstep genre's have a lot of garbage and I just wish there was an easier way of finding it all.

A lot of people use terms like chillstep/glitchstep and stuff. I don't know if these are official genre's. To each their own. Just a way of classifying their style.

Liquid dubsteps pretty good started looking through it after looking at this but hey guys here is a link to a guy starting out just released his first album, he has some pretty good songs here is a link to a good one.

I know this is like a shot in the dark, but im looking for a Dubstep track where the main vocal says something along the lines of "I Beleive". If anyone can show me this song would be mint. Cheers

I'm not a dubstep listener, I have listened to maybe 5 but I do have a question.

Why is the music described as dirty/filthy or whatever? How can music be dirty?

Gonna run the question again, would anyone be able to identify a dubstep song for me the only thing i can remember though is a Female vocal singing " I believe". Probaly fairly new track!
