he was double, double crossing(I think thats how it worked) with the master, it was revealed earlier on that he reported the PLANS that were made against fairy tail from the plans that he reported to the other...
Basically he's a double agent that works for fairy tail while keeping the 'bad guys' happy though I don't know if they're around anymore, but if I recall one of the bad guys that he reported/reports to was responsible for making that electric guy electric, without actually being a dragonslayer.

btw, does anyone else think that the Goatman from the "Purgatory 7" is actually Caprico the Zodiac sign? It could be that he's like Loki, a battle oriented spirit and can also like Loki stay in the human realm for extended periods of time. If that's true he can probably open the stellar gate by himself too.

Very possible. Almost every arc Lucy seems to manage to find (at least) one new key. This could the next one.
How many does she have at the moment? I think she will have a full set soon :S

Since FT is going against 7 mages, how many of FT do they actually have on the island?
Natsu, Grey, Elza, Juvia, Wendy, and their master... That's about it? Seems to me that everyone else left the island already or got beaten up.

This manga doesn't get enough love.
One piece and fairy tail are the only ones I enjoy reading at this point. I read others, but don't enjoy it as much.

We all know Lucy is mostly for comedy relief... Elfman and Evergreen's powers are untested...
I was just thinking if Makarov will actually fight, or will he be debilitated somehow like some of the earlier arcs.

+ Show Spoiler +I like what happened this chapter; it was good what he did with Mest.
Now that the ship's gone, Mest is going to be forced to help Fairy Tail. He's already shown that he wants to protect Wendy to some extent, so there's definitely room for him to become a legitimate good guy. The fact that he's part of the council means that either Mest is going to get kicked out of the Council and become a real member of Fairy Tail, or relations between the Council and Fairy Tail might get a tiny bit better..
But if they do get better, that would mean there's some greater threat they need to fight against.. would that be Zeref?
But something like this could point to the end of the manga (since FT just has to be the rebellious guild that the Council wants to shut down), and we can't have that yet ]: I'm betting on Mest just straight out joining FT or dying.

Look for him to be added to Lucy's collection in some wacky, deeply implausible, yet awesome set of events!
Although now she has so many gold keys that it almost cheapens their value.. aren't they supposed to be extremely rare? And there's only 12? She already has 9.. Although I guess there wouldn't be anything wrong with her being the only one with them, since every other character's powers are unique too.

This thread is dying :[ I don't like how the three pillars of dark guilds differ in strength so much, the other guild wasn't even close to this difficulty. Oh, and Gildartz leaving the island kinda make me sad too.

Ul's a bitch ]: Meldy looks like a nice person, so I think she's going to end up joining the guild in the end. Or transforming into something ugly and dying. Whatever works.
Next chapter: Natsu rapes the baddie and Makarov ends up bringing out the rest of the enemy guild to fight.
