Does he think he can clean up Zeref's generals by himself? Natsu still hasn't lost reason, he is asking Gray to get out of his way, he can see the difference between good guys and bad guys. Also of course Grey is now at the perfect moment going fucking emo and shit about all the deaths he faced in the past, and he just *had* to seek out Natsu specifically to take his anger out on him. There were flashbacks were Gray and Natsu were portrayed as friends from a very early age. You'd think that would somehow fucking influence Gray's judgement to maybe, just maybe not try to kill Natsu in the middle of a fucking continental invasion? Absolutely pointless. This manga turned into absolute shit, Bleach level this arc.

END is in natsu, but it's not natsu himself. something along those lines. it's an add-on. gray is going to kill the add-on and save his friend, who then goes on to defeat zeref power of friendship
