but even by the most recent episodes own references, they KNOW that shirley is just all about baked goods and religion. It makes me very angry that they admit to something like this in their own episode, yet, they do not try to change her character in that episode.

if anyone could use a character reboot, it's definitely shirley. and if anyone could make that happen, its definitely the writing staff and production crew of community. I am hopeful that they will have an episode or two involving shirley doing things that shirley wouldn't normally do in the near future (and would be very surprised if they didn't have one). As it is though, she is definitely the cookie cutter boring character that no one likes.
