can anybody tell me which remix of chemical brothers - don't think this is?
Searched for a while now but couldn't find anything at all. At this point I think it's not even a remix but somebody who used a sample of the track for one of his own ones.
For me, the Top 5 that i saw would have been (in no particular order) - Above and Beyond - Tritonal - Laidback Luke - Krewella - Sander van Doorn
Very close to being in that list is also Cedric Gervais - I had never heard of him before and nearly went to listen to some other sets, but was rather glad i didn't as he was phenomenal.

That's a group I don't hear about enough: Tritonal. Such an amazing sound and absolutely memorable. Krewella sounds ALMOST like dubstep, but it far enough and good enough for me to enjoy them.
In other news, new Shogun remix. Something about this DJ rubs me the right way, and I can listen to his mixes nonstop.

Above & beyond is fucking godly experience. I'd love to hear one of their acoustic shows. cant wait to see them this weekend! I like tritonal, pissed i didn't get to see them live at edc chicago. Krewella is great but when i saw them at spring awakening it was way too early and i was not nearly fucked up enough for harder/dub steppy music lol. I'll be able to see them late in the night on friday so hopefully thats awesome. Sander van doorn is awesome, i'd love to see him again. Can't believe all the travelling these artists do!

Aha that could be because most of their stuff is actually dubstep
@Decaf, Yea I'd love to catch one of those acoustic sets too! I'm really hoping they release one on the interwebz for all of us who can't make it to one aha.
The other best part of the weekend was getting to see New World Punx at Tao Beach and capturing this awesome moment on my phone aha

Ferry Cortsen played it last night (more like this morning I guess..) at the gig I was at, and I can't find it anywhere ahah (sorry for the shitty audio, it was taken from my phone lol)
^^This be the song
If you still care; it's "Many Ways to Change a Life"
ahah yea, he released a set with it in it so i got it from there. But thanks!!

It was amazing ahah. I left after 4ish hours of them playing to get to the speedway (it was 5 when i left the venue) and they played for another 2 i had heard. But they were super cool, just signing things left right and center all while mixing sexy tunes.
Also just heard this track today.. i feel like i should hate it because i almost always can't stand country/ blue grass music, but theres something really damn catchy about it.

Ahhhh edc was sooo unbelievable. Everybody needs to hit up this event. Can't wait for next year
My favs in no order: - A&B - Dyro - Hardwell - Calvin Harris (surprising for me too.. but the fireworks / crowd / music combo was too good) - DaDa Life - Armin - Steve Angelo - Mat Zo
As you can see spent waay too much time at the kinetic lol..
Just wanted to post in my own thread and show off my new phones:
Sennheiser ie80 Laws of physics defying soundstage. I cannot believe this is from a single dynamic. The Germans know their sound. So wide and deep. Bass that throbs down to my throat yet not bloated or muddy. Clear and airy highs, not screechy. Slightly recessed mids but vocals still sound good enough because:
this has been on repeat for a while Boom Jinx & Maor Levi Feat Ashley Tomberlain - When You Loved Me
What a fucking phenomenal vocal. I usually don't really pick out vocals but this one just brought a tear into my eye and made my hairs stand on end.
Think i posted that same track a few pages ago ^_^ phenomenal track. how sick is boom jinx gonna be at above and beyonds 500th show?? Would kill to go.
I'm stuck listening to my klipsch s4 w/ comply tips at work. guess i could bring in my M50 but that would probably be obnoxious. Super jealous of the new IEMS, how much did those run you?

All this EDC talk is making me sad... I went last year and it was both horrible and amazing. Couldn't go this year because I am studying out here in Europe, but probably wouldn't have gone due to my experience last year if I could have. Have UMF Croatia tickets, but am most likely heading back to Canada before then... where I will be til just after TomorrowLand.. QQ GG no RE

Nobody can blame you for that ^_^
Aw man decaf you are turning into my long lost brother =D. You lift heavy, love the same songs as me and also love audio gear. My best friend (alffla) from Hong Kong also had the Klipsch S4 before it broke, now he's using the ATH CKS77 that I got him.
My ie80 were an absolute steal at 300RMB (50USD). Yes I know that is absolutely insane but I spent quite some time sifting through taobao pages and found these. They had a 2 week money back option so I thought to myself why the fuck not. After burn in I just could not send them back. The sound is exactly like what people at headfi are saying. Stolen straight out of FengDa manufacturing factory in Guangzhou. It's that whole area where your Levi's jeans and iphones are made.
Man I was just seriously considering getting the ATH M50 for my girlfriend. Her beats broke down so I have to find some entry level cans for her. Are they as good as they say then? I'm also looking at the Sennheiser Momentum. She's a more full headphone person, doesn't like IEM.
Yeah man I would love to go to London as well for group therapy 50.

The M50s are fucking great. Really just puts you into the music. Obviously they're not going to be as bassy as the beats (because beats jacks up the EQ)...but if she likes that sound she can just tune her EQ lol. Super jealous that you got those for so cheap holy hell, retails for 350!!!

And trust me i'd drop a couple grand on a nice audio set up if the money fell into my lap. Unfortunately that is not the case. Actually i'd rather build a nice speaker set up and feel the music in my bones but that'd be even more expensive ^_^
