Matt Lange, Tiesto, and Dada Life, Starkillers next weekend. Sander Van Doorn, Greg Downy, Sultan and Ned Shepard twice, and Morgan Page the weekend after. Paul Oakenfold, Tydi, and DJ Dan the third week/end of the month. Sasha twice, Carl Cox, Escape from Wonderland, Monster Massive, Cosmic Gate, and Paul Oakenfold to finish off October. One of the best months I've seen in quite a bit here for Socal. Only DJ that is missing for me is Markus Schulz, who is actually going to be spinning at Escape from Wonderland, but I want him to do a club gig, as his sets are soooo much better in a club then festival, plus I'm going to MM and not Escape. Yea, i'm sure theres a ton of stuff going on in Cali, it seems like a pretty legit place for EDM, like other big cities like NY or Miami.. I'm glad im in florida 'cause it seems that EDM is, at least more accepted here or more heard of, I should say. When I lived in Mississippi or Alabama everyone looked at me crazy when I told 'em I listened to Trance.. had to say techno to make it pop in their minds wtf I was talking about. I had a friend from Cali come through a-school in p-cola, although he didn't listent to edm, he assured me that there are lots of places that listen to it out there - however, why is it always the gay clubs that seem to play edm? >< (besides specific concert events that is) Anywho - I thought you lived in Texas, Duke, although that was some time ago that you told me that ;o I guess things really do change! but yea, glgl - keep this thread alive! I still be sampling tracks put in here from others! DL'd a couple.. | ||
