Wings all had new players and won TI. I think LGD(and VG this year) just failed to play to win this year and last year. They had the skill and momentum. They just failed to perform at optimal level when needed.

The only players new to scene at this TI would be part of Catburger stack and few other individual players on some teams, totalling something like 5 to 8. Out of 90 players. EDIT: fixing it.

They were by no means, playing methodical dota. Their picks were unconventional 90% of the time, They had 1000 different draft combinations up their arsenal and way better team synergy than any of the team in that year. I don't see any of that same quality in any of the current chinese teams.

Not only will thie series result in the first two times TI champions but also probably answer the question who the GOAT of Dota is. Just remains to be seen if it will be the Danish flower or the German garbage man.

But it's really just the Cycle with the OG Caveat.

I don't see any of that same quality in any of the current chinese teams. I only brought up wings because your point was that chinese dota didn't win because they didn't have old players on their best teams for TI. Which Wings also didn't have but they won. Regardless if Wings won in an unconventional way they still count as chinese and no-old players. Which is the whole point of your statement. Unless you are arguing about something else then open with a completely different statement lol

The gap in knowledge between tier1 players and the rest is too huge for such a deep game. No teams are willing to pick up and train new players unless they show exceptional skills in pubs. Well unless tier1 players start retiring and decide to coach new teams.
