I'm hoping for Empire, LGD, and VP to win Given how every team I wanted to win ended up losing yesterday, I hope my luck can do a 180 and every team I want to win today ends up winning

100% agree. And as much as I like Liquid, I'm finding it hard not to root for Empire.
All of my teams are out, so I'm not sure what to do anymore!
Watching the games, I think VP and LFY are the two best teams here. Doesn't mean they can't be beaten, but man it's gonna be hard for anyone to beat those two teams.
I felt really bad for TnC yesterday; they didn't showcase anything near their best games on the main stage. I'm glad they'll stick together (per 1437's interview), but watching them slowly fall apart yesterday was painful. That golden SD cosmetic was fucking sick though!
I have friends that won't come back with to me the Arena if it's only Chinese teams on the final day, which is kinda sad.
The dota has been excellent! I've been feeling it's kinda unfair for the Chinese fans in attendance here at Key; it feels like they don't pick any specific team, just as long as it's Chinese, so you feel really outnumbered when you have a favorite western / SEA team but they get out early. It feels like they just switch teams when I find it harder for me to do so. Maybe that's a problem with me personally, but I dont' mind seeing LFY destroy people; they are fucking gooooood and I'd be amazed to see them lose a single game the rest of the way.
When the games are going on though, the Arena is hype! That last game yesterday basically blew the roof off the Arena. Looking forward to the games today; these are going to be much closer, especially OG versus LGD!
OG vs LGD feels like a good matchup for both, by which I mean they'll both allow each other to play the sort of game they want to play. Should be a fun series.
Liquid, LGD, and VP to win today. That said, my predictions are approaching Kim Carrier levels of incorrect, so I don't really know where this is gonna go.

Most China fans would be someone coming from China/descendant of someone Chinese, so its not weird when they supporting every Chinese teams. I also do the same when a football team from Indonesia play against foreign team, no matter which one is it, even when the team that play was a rival of my favourite team.
The same also applies to your friend; he think that as he come from 'western' then if no western team in grand finals then it doesnt interest him. Its human nature, really, nothing is unfair
Actually if you talk of fairness, every TI were, and will be, held in Seattle, western country. So teams from China would always be 'away' team, which is kinda unfair

Region is the closest thing there is to home teams. Everyone is pretty much arbitrarily rooting for teams of choice anyways so region is as good a metric as any. It makes it more fun when you can convince yourself to get invested in a team winning/losing.
I would love to see one new hero for each of the remaining days of TI, perhaps the big reveal of the fourth spirit to be released after TI, one hero to be released later in the year, and another one to be released next year
