This is what happens with China vs China. All the teams know each other really well. It's how iG.V could 2-0 LGD in groups and why they came out on top in China quals even though they are the "weakest" team out of China.

I think PPD touched on it earlier when he mentioned how the top teams will always scrim against each other as well. I don't know how prelevant that is in the NAEU scenes though. I'm sure it's more of the same?

Totally fair to do that, yeah. And on the biggest stage you wanna try to avoid opponents that already know who you are until closer to the end if possible.

Yes, we know you're useless Day9. Sigh.
When you came along so righteous with a new national hate, so convincing is the ardor of war and of men, it's harder to breathe than to believe you're a friend. The wars at home, the wars abroad, all soaked in blood and lies and fraud.

I think the only team they could scrim against was VG since that was RoTK's team at the time.

earth spirit and dark seer, because they got picked and won a game

Nyx also is like top 3 picked heroes and has like a 70% winrate or something stupid

Earthshaker will probably get a nerf?
