Considering Valve has an entire VR lab, I'm guessing they're using more sophisticated tracking though.

If you think you can tell PA is broken before pros who play this game full time, you're probably overestimating your own analitical abilities. It may have taken 3 months for pros to realize timber is strong, but all that shows is that they can be wrong, it doesn't show that they're not the best guessers at what the ideal meta is.

Pros take few months to pick up on actual broken hero most of the time and even then it starts as kneejerk reaction from losing to said hero. Best example: 6.83 Sniper. Admittedly this one caught myself off-guard as well, but i have an excuse of only playing dota in summer.

it's a comfort hero for a lot of offlane players and tends to fit well within any sort of draft without giving away what you're doing.
Bulba mentioned it in his TI interview on how the offlane hero pool really hasn't expanded for years.

QO has played it before, but PA was wayyyy out of the meta. Certainly no one was coming into TI thinking, we need to watch out for PA.
