Idk, VP seem to really be hit or miss, so you dont know who will show up, other teams may not be THAT good when on point but more consistent imho.

I think you really don't wanna do a b01 against any CIS team. I don't think even the last version of c9 who has ridiculously high winrate against all CIS teams would be confident about it.

but man b01 losers bracket is so hardcore

or b01's are just scary in general

Based on pictures there seems to be some Chinese media present at the event. Does anyone know where one could find their interviews?

Actually I just realised the schedule is hella light. 6 hours to do 3 bo1. Only 2 bo3 for the third day. Only 1 bo5 for the last day. It kinda makes zero sense to be buying single day passes. Too few games for that price.

I would prefer to start the day a little earlier maybe at 10 or 11. 2 bo3 + 2bo1 for day 1. 3 bo3 for day 2. 1 bo3 and 1 bo5 for day 3. Grand finals is bo7.

I don't even think my suggestion is very tight on schedule. Max of 8/9/8/7 games to be plagued each day. Assuming they start at 10 and have to end at 9, 11 hours is plenty of time.

Considering the finalists start on a fresh day, don't see why it is an issue. Players are pampered with the accommodation. Should be giving something back! From ticker buyers perspective, it makes ticket prices more justified.

1. It is in Singapore where the dota community ain't the biggest.

2. Tickets are overpriced for the number of matches they give.

3. There's school/army commitments for majority of dota fans in Singapore on weekdays.

Thanks, that is shit. It really ruins the experience when there isn't a crowd. So many Rikis.

If you're the worse team you should always be happy with a bo1.

i wouldnt put liquid that much above vp though. i think they are somewhat even and in the middle of the pack.

Liquid is definitely worse than Virtus Pro. Liquid has a higher chance of beating Virtus Pro in a bo1 than a bo3. Liquid should be very happy with NYC for this format.
