AA and doom's ults are impossible to steal if the players are cautious. So I don't know what world you are living in

No one has played solid since reshuffle tbh.

secret 3 in a row grand final is solid enough imo

ngaw there there

I still stand by his Rubick not doing a lot. Although that is to Secret's credit rather than being solely on him.

Yeah he didn't turn more than few fights with stolen fissures

in retard land, if your rubick doesn't steal 20 ultimates in a row he did nothing

He turned one fight with fissure, and this was a game with four big ultimates on Secret's side.

xiao8, chuan and yao seem to disagree with you regarding this particular analysis of rubick's impacts in the fights

but hey those are just some TI winners you are azarkon so I'm going to have to defer to you here as usual

I don't know what they said, but they can't honestly think this was an excellent performance by Rubick.

You don't pick Rubick for fissure. You pick earthshaker for that. Not that hard to understand. He didn't perform up to the level of top tier Rubicks.

He turned at least 4 fights and one critical fissure to stop Secret from killing off Illusion while they were taking the mid lane raxes. Oh let's not to forget his early first bloood and numerous initiations with blink/lift. Did he make big ult plays by stealing fissure or echo slam? Well of course, tbh kinda of hard Rubick game to make le epick flashy plays.

honestly the game losing mistake was not backing up immediately after they get 1 lane of rax

they underestimated the jug aghs + bf

totally agree, + the AA ulti didn't hit anyone is the last 4-5 fights. That would've made so much harder for VG to kill the cores from Secret.
This game is about towers and the Throne, not kills and fancy play.

There's still SF, Earthshaker, Bane...

Every single Secret hero had big ultimates. This was THE Rubick game.

Fy tried too hard to steal Doom. That was why he didn't get those other spells. He kept spell stealing EternalEnvy hoping he'd get Doom but never got it.

I don't know man I guess the TI winners of this world see games differently from the azarkons

seriously though they didn't say he was excellent, but pointed out multiple fights where the fissures were important as well as several key early moves including the fb and the catch on ES top slowing down the blink. Not a highlight reel performance, but nothing close to useless either.

he didn't steal 20 ultimates and get 7 rampages though so you are right as usual, don't worry

The only time you can steal doom's ult is when everything is on CD.
AA always has vortex ready.

This must be one of the better produced finals thats not a TI. It's like someone finally figured out how to make a real event.

He didn't even steal fissure till the later half of the game. As I said, there were multiple fights in which he chose to spell steal EternalEnvy and got only level death, scorched earth, etc.
