"Safe to leave" just means you won't get an abandon if you quit.
You still get a loss if your team loses.

Nice save brah. Except, you said "it has nothing to do with ultimates", which it clearly does. And how is it a "funny assumption" when it's basically correct? Ultimate CC pierces BKB, Duel is an ultimate, thus it works on BKB targets. Nope he was right. because it depends on the skill and has nothing to do with the ultimate, I mean there are also ultimates that dont go through bkb (ravage for example) and there are skills that are not ultimates that go through bkb (enfeeble comes to mind). Of course, since ultimates are the strongest spells with the highest cooldowns, a lot of ultimate spells go through bkb, but it has nothing to do with them being an ultimate

It is blocked by Linken's though. Once upon a time, I tried to think in terms of these kinds of rules. Then dota broke me. That said, single target ults with a cc component do tend to apply at least some of their cc through magic immunity. I can't think of any exceptions off the top of my head. That doesn't cover you for the random non-ults that also pierce bkb, of course. AFAIK most targeting ultimates allow targeting through BKB. Some pierce for full effect (LC) while others apply CC but not damage (Pudge, Bane). There are only a few targeting ultimates (Lion and Lina come to mind) that can't even target through BKB. edit: Morphling was the only other one I could find that cannot target through BKB. edit2: To add to the confusion, Morphling can target through allied BKBs but not enemy BKBs. even Lina and Lion could previously target through BKB until it was patched. Many ultimates go through BKB. Few non ultimates do. So what?
An ability being an ultimate (or not being an ultimate) is realistically not a good way to determine how it interacts with BKB whatsoever so people should discard that notion entirely.

Ultimate Abilities
Abilities that have their "Stats - Required Level" value set to higher than 1, will be recognized as an ultimate ability by game engine. Required Level value only available on Hero Abilities' settings, however if you convert an ultimate ability to a unit ability, it will conserve it's ultimate property.
Even if you can target your ultimate, damage of the ability may be nullified by Magic Immunity. However other effects like slow, stun will still affect the unit.
Centaur's Hoof Stomp is based on War Stomp just like Reverse Polarity. Even though both doesn't do any damage to Magic Immune units because of the Damage Type, Reverse Polarity is able to stun them where Hoof Stomp isn't. an ability being an ultimate is one of the criteria for being magic-immunity piercing When that refers to "Ultimate", its referring to the Warcraft 3 ability property, not the actual game concept. DotA has skills that are flagged as ultimates that aren't, and skills that aren't flagged as ultimates that are.
So for the purpose of trying to make a rule, that article is meaningless.

whats good for axe late game?
the items i get are vanguard, arcane boots, heart of tarrasque, blink dagger but i'm not sure of what to get afterwards. i tend to get something like desolator or skullbasher for added damage after the items i mentioned. pipe of insight if lot of casters.
get another vanguard to tank more? satanic? its fun getting 5+ kills early game but i get melted by carries later. is there way to get more damage out of axe late game? dagon?

Get team utility items. Axe's personal usefulness in lategame doesn't come off his damage so you shouldn't be buying that. Shiva's Guard is great, Pipe as mentioned, Sheepstick, Necrobook, Vlad's, etc.

I dont think theres really a way to build axe so you continue dunking all over them through the late game. once helix and hunger damage starts to become irrelevant you basically have to fall back on your abilities as an initiator/utility hero. building damage items on him is a waste of money, you arnt ever going to be doing a reasonable amount of auto attack damage with axe.
When you get to the point where you want to buy an expensive item you should be thinking about things that will help your team, like shivas and AC.

He did get some buffs to give him a better chance to keep snowballing. Base regen is better and stuff like that, in theory u should not have to go back to the fountain for regen ever.

Surprised that nobody started a topic on Terrorblade yet.
This hero is basically a ranged Lycan.
Your lane presence is better thanks to Metamorphosis and Reflection, though you'll need something to set it up. Your teamfight is better since you have Reflection and can use your ranged form or even just your illusions to do the fighting. You can push towers more safely since you, again, can use your ranged form or let your illusions do the work.
Sunder means they'll need two or three people to gank you, which is similar to Lycan.
Your jungling is problematic at start and slower than Lycan's, you'll probably want start in the lane. You're not as good at Roshing because you can't use your illusions to attack Rosh unlike Lycan's wolves. Metamorphosis has a long cd so your full pushing potential isn't always available.
If you go for full splitpushing I'd get Basi, normal boots, Drums are situational. Your core item is Manta, definitely not SnY. Next up would be BoT, Skadi, Butterfly, BKB in whatever order seems best. If you need to fight because then I'd say you should finish your Treads, get Drums or two bracers if you're doing badly, then get BKB and Manta. A Mask of Death works for sustaining jungling since your DPS is fairly high, you have 982743 armor and can afford the occasional illusion to tank for you.

Terrorblade bears no resemblance whatsoever to lycan lol.
Hows this a Simple Question/Answer?

Ofcourse he does, I'm talking about the playstyle. He's one of 3 pushing carries in Dota (not splitpushing carries mind you). Killing towers is what he does best, like Lycan and Lone Druid. You prefer not to teamfight at all because that's simply not your forte unless youre stacked and have BKB.

He has 1 ability that could be described as a pushing ability lol and its a "make illusion" ability so by that logic Naga and PL are pushing carries.

i'm aware of what it means, and the article is not meaningless. it gives insight into why some ultimates are magic-immune piercing.

All pushing carries are splitpushing carries.
Unless you think the Lycan killing your tower in front of you and the Lycan killing your tower way over yonder are different.

Well they are in that Lycan is a strong teamfighter with his first major item, so is not afraid to force a fight in the process of taking towers. Carry Naga and PL don't have this option. They split-push because they CAN'T fight, while Lycan WANTS to fight.
TB is somewhat closer to Naga/PL in this regard.

I don't see how that in any way argues the point.
Pushing carries can be splitpushing carries but not necessarily the other way around.
