Ember replacing Juggernaut? Ember can't go magic immune or instantly kill1-2 heroes if surprise meeting in the woods. Also Juggernaut has healing ward, which is a good push skill.
Sounds more like you misjudge Juggernaut.

So do I understand this correctly: while phoenix is in his ultimate form, any 5/7/10 attacks on his ball form will kill the hero? Can be attacks from creeps, etc?

Only hero attacks count to destroy the egg.

Well, if thats the case then it works fine. I looked at dotabuff and it didnt state clearly that duel goes through magic immunity, like dotabuff does with beastmaster ultimate info, so i was a bit confused.
p.s. The only reason why i picked juggernaut was spin escape. Now that i know it does not work against duel im not picking him in most games anymore, as most games allways tend to have a legion commander in it (2nd most picked hero after pudges). Without spin, juggernaut seems less interesting.
Thanks again for the info.

LC ultimate is taunt, like Axe's one, it works through bkb.
And Ember Spirit is pretty useless hero who has less survivability than any other hero in the game. His only strength is lucky crit on W but it's rarely occassion. Feeding Ember Spirit, who crumbles under any pressure - not rare.
Jugggernaut is too good hero to ignore. There aren't much heroes, who can fill every role with same success besides Alchemist and Juggernaut and guys like them, because of it they're so valuable.

It is blocked by Linken's though.

Once upon a time, I tried to think in terms of these kinds of rules. Then dota broke me.
That said, single target ults with a cc component do tend to apply at least some of their cc through magic immunity. I can't think of any exceptions off the top of my head.
That doesn't cover you for the random non-ults that also pierce bkb, of course.

Some pierce for full effect (LC) while others apply CC but not damage (Pudge, Bane). There are only a few targeting ultimates (Lion and Lina come to mind) that can't even target through BKB.
edit: Morphling was the only other one I could find that cannot target through BKB.
edit2: To add to the confusion, Morphling can target through allied BKBs but not enemy BKBs.

Ember can absolutely kill 1v2 early on.

I have an MMR question. What happens when you play through to the end of a game with a disconnect and lose 4v5. Does that affect everyone's MMR? I'm not playing ranked yet but I know we all have hidden MMRs in solo queue. If I want to continue progressing, is it better to disconnect from those games rather than finishing them?

If the game is in the early abandonment phase, you should just leave. If someone abandoned after that, then the win/loss does affect your mmr. Unless you're super far behind you might as well try because if you leave you're guaranteeing a loss

That's funniest assumption i've heard for a long time, sorry, dude :D
It's just mechanics which has nothing to do with "ultimate". In HoN it was called as "Superior Magic" skills and i still like it.
But there're not many ultimates :D It's all about damage types, but not about ultimates.

Ability Interactions
Magic Immune units can't be targeted or won't be affected by most of the abilities. I will explain the exceptions on three sections.
+ Show Spoiler +Universal Abilities
Ultimate Abilities
Abilities that have their "Stats - Required Level" value set to higher than 1, will be recognized as an ultimate ability by game engine. Required Level value only available on Hero Abilities' settings, however if you convert an ultimate ability to a unit ability, it will conserve it's ultimate property.
Even if you can target your ultimate, damage of the ability may be nullified by Magic Immunity. However other effects like slow, stun will still affect the unit.
Centaur's Hoof Stomp is based on War Stomp just like Reverse Polarity. Even though both doesn't do any damage to Magic Immune units because of the Damage Type, Reverse Polarity is able to stun them where Hoof Stomp isn't.
an ability being an ultimate is one of the criteria for being magic-immunity piercing

So even if it says "This game is safe to leave" due to a late abandonment and you leave it will affect your MMR?

It will say if the result still counts or not too. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesnt. You should read all three sentences and not just the first 5 words
edit : 6, my bad

If someone abandoned after first blood, game will affect MMR, but only if game is counted because i had bunch of 1 hour games, who hadn't been counted because dota2 don't want to work nice.

Nice save brah.
Except, you said "it has nothing to do with ultimates", which it clearly does. And how is it a "funny assumption" when it's basically correct? Ultimate CC pierces BKB, Duel is an ultimate, thus it works on BKB targets.

because it depends on the skill and has nothing to do with the ultimate, I mean there are also ultimates that dont go through bkb (ravage for example) and there are skills that are not ultimates that go through bkb (enfeeble comes to mind).
Of course, since ultimates are the strongest spells with the highest cooldowns, a lot of ultimate spells go through bkb, but it has nothing to do with them being an ultimate
