Get Visage, that's all.
He's probably only one who can trade well with Windrunner not in 1v1 scenarios.

Right click an enemy hero while within 500 range from the enemy creeps and they will aggro you. First do this to make the creeps switch places so that the enemy creeps are on your side, this will make it harder for enemy heroes to harass you (they will take more creep damage when doing so). Then draw aggro again every time one of their creeps get low to pull it towards you, thus you don't have to run in closer to the enemy when you want to last hit. Always get a stout shield, upgrade it to a Poor Man's Shield if you're an agility hero. If your item build will include some kind of regen item, get it asap, even if its upgrade is not the next item you intend to complete.

I'm kind of new to Dota and I like to play Lone Druid, but I really dislike the stash interaction of the bear (Bear cannot access stash).

Is that a thing that has been discussed. Maybe someone more old school can fill me in.

You can right click items and then drop from stash and let the bear pick it up off the ground.

If you have the bear focused while accessing the shops, the items go directly to his inventory. Also useful for finishing items that are in his inventory.

What I do with courier deliveries is move the piece of the item I'm making back on the hero when the courier's near, and then just move the completed item back to the bear. I find myself doing this when I finish my AC (usually move the hyperstone from the bear to the hero) or Midas.

Really good advice here, I've had problems with harassment often and I never thought about using creep aggro to make last hitting a bit safer.

I've found a key aspect is to be really solid at last hitting. If you need to stay by the creeps and wait for the timing, you will take massive damage, you need to be able to dart in from a distance, get the last hit, then dart back out. You also need to be able to do this consistently, because the main solution to the harassment is to get the basic items you need (ring of health, poor mans shield, armlet, etc) at which point you're stable and their harassment is inefficient.

I have trained a lot against bots and while I do fine against hard bots, I have always had terrible games when trying out antimage because the harassment would just destroy me. Then I got good enough at last hitting, started getting a stout shield into poor man shield immediately then rushing a ring of health, and now I can easily get that battlefury by 16 minutes at least, which I earlier thought was impossible in an aggressive dual lane situation.

One thing to mention about this creep aggro thing is that if you do it to much you will automagicially push your lane which sometimes is horrendous. You can of course pull the wave back in other ways like pulling and excessive denying.

In CM the enemy team first picks viper and it looks like he is going mid. How do you respond in the draft? What is a good response to viper mid?

Items.

If they are both 6slot I'd bank on the tiny but it also depends on what item choices they went for etc. Plus AM could blink away at will.

A real fun one is dark seer mid. Fast bottle and just ion shell your wave to pin him to the tower. Surge away if he ever gets you.

Its all about your bird control. Fresh birds plus a slow from you plus your soul assumption = dead practically any enemy, but its hard to slow him, then hit with birds, then zap him with hero, then land with birds, etc.

Viper wins most mid matchups with any difficulty, but he has no chance against static link .

Max soul assumption first. Treat it as a "damage multiplier" like maledict or soul catcher.
For every 110 damage taken, you can deal 65 damage. After magic reduction, its a 44% damage amplification. Additionally, it also charges based on damage your team has taken, meaning that trading early counts for double damage on the nuke.

Visage has great range but a terrible turn rate. Because of this, it's not usually wise to turn a full 180 degrees to slow someone in order to sprint away. Instead, make sure you're always out of range of them, then poke in for a soul assumption. The slow turn rate is probably the source of any feeding problems. Like any support, learning how to position the hero prior to a fight is the difference between feeding their carry or feeding your own.

Bird control is tricky. Though they do have global range, they're most effective on target's slowed by you. They're effectively a 300 damage nuke in auto attacks if they're fresh, which amplified by your soul assumption means you can deal up to 1000 non-reduced damage at level 6 in under 3 seconds. This is possibly the highest dps at that level range in the game.

Item builds are a variable depending on the situation. Mekanism is also great because any additional health works well with your defensive skill. Agh's is great because three level 16 birds can kill most supports straight up. I tend to build into a heart at some point because the longer you're alive, the more soul assumptions you can pull off.
Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic

What do you do with the other points? Cloak or Grave Chill max first?

1 in grave chill max cloak is the traditional since grave chill's scaling isn't so hot and by the the time you are level 7-10 your key need is "not feed" which is where cloak comes in.

Its situational and you can definitely put a few more in chill if you find yourself hunting baddies and never being focused or taking damage, but that is traditionally the exception not the rule.

i dont agree with maxing soul assumption first. its situational, but in most cases you dont need more than 2 points in it early game. sometimes even 1 point is enough. maxing cloak is by far the better option as the armour and magic reduction is unbelievable, especially in the early stages of the game. usually my skill build will look something like 1-2-2-1 at lvl 6, or 1-1-4-1 at lvl 7. and the key to visage is using his familiars properly, so practice that a bit and hes quite easy to use

wrong

It depends on the game. I would usually max Soul Assumption first, but often you don't need to have it maxed at 7.

Remember that Soul Assumption only scales number of soul charges and mana cost. The damage per charge is fixed, which means Soul Assumption ranks are only useful if you are not hitting the charge cap of your current rank. In pro games the tempo tends to be fairly fast, and by the time supports are level 7, teamfights are already happening that cap even a rank 4 Soul Assumption's soul charges (part of why the hero is so strong--his power curve uniquely suits a game where teamfights are happening at a time when heroes have levels but not necessarily items). But in a pub game, full on 5v5 teamfights don't always happen that early because people tend to do their own thing, and in small 2v2 or 3v3 skirmishes, 1-2-2-1 could indeed be better than 1-3-1-1.
