as far as I know it used to be that you had the bonus for a game if it was active at the start of the match. they did change some things about BP bonus though.
it was active for 2 hours before. now it is active for 2 in-game hours. so I'm not sure what the case is now.

I think I just pressed the 'sort armory button' in the armory for the first time and now I cannot un-sort them. I had them all organized in neat pages, and now it's an authist's nightmare in there. Is there a way to un-sort the armory?

Basically, you're screwed. I think Valve intends you to create custom filters and navigate that way.

Wow that's upsetting. I am ocd enough to do it all over, but if this happened again I would loose my shit so I guess I better live with it. ) :

On timbersaw itembuilding.
What do you think about using the BS suicide in combination with BoT to heal your team and tp back into the fight (assuming a fight where dmg is being shared between members, instead of 1 person being nuked). BoT being the 2nd big item may also be a partial solution to my next question :
When you have a BS, is it still ok to get a Scythe of Vyse since you have so much regen already, and any extra regen is only a waste. Are there better alternatives to Scythe of Vyse when you already have your BS up? Hex is obviously really strong, but I hate wasting money on regen that you don't need. When I'm going for linkens, I don't feel as bad, since you can use a little bit of extra regen. But with BS, I rarely need more regen.

But with BS, I rarely need more regen. you should never cross out sheep as an item because you already have enough regen, that's not the point of the item at all. sheep is extremely powerful lategame. look for items with strong actives: if you need lockdown, go sheep; if you need more tankiness vs carries, go shivas; also consider things like blademail, heart, blink depending on what you need for that game.
BoT is really strong but you shouldn't buy it just so you can bloodstone suicide heal and then tp back....

sheep stick is situational for me. If I feel like the team would benefit a lot from one then I usually get it instead of bloodstone. Sheepstick/rod or sheepstick/shiva's or orchid/whatever also give you a lot of regen. I would almost never get it before shivas and heart if I already have bloodstone, but then if you need it then you get it I guess :D
Suicide on bloodstone looses you A LOT of charges if you're above 15 charges. I don't know the exact number but I'm always shocked when I use it for the regen. You better make it worth it.

Any general tips on Storm Spirit (items and gameplay)? I almost never play mid, and I want to start playing him to learn the mid lane in general.

This is how i play him
Starting tango + 3x branch
into bottle, into boots, into magic wand
Then u can go 2 direction bloodstone or orchids
For orchids, complete threads go into orchids
For bloodstone go for mana boots then buy all components for bloodstone and disasemble boots to complete it.
For mid you generatly want to go 1-3-1-0 by level 5 and then u can either max the first skill or the third one (try both ways they play a bit differently but are both viable)
U keep ur pull at lv 3, because that is the magic lv were u can remnant + attack + pull + attack + remnant + attack and the pull duration is long enough to get everything unloaded on ennemy hero ( This is by far storm best combo and what separates good players from wannabe scrubs, practice it as it is your bread and butter combo)
Other than that everything else comes from practice, u have to learn when is a good time to jump, how to effective juke and bait the ennemy team and general movement (U will eventually get good at calculating how big a mana pools allows u to do what)
Last thing for storm mid is try to play passive from 1-4 and get your bottle up from lv 5 you can try and make openings. Also past lv 7-8 dont stick mid too much unless you can continuously kill the other mid as your job is to snowball and hamper the ennemy team

Lately i've been seeing a lot of Slark bans in pro play, but when he doesn't get banned i've never seen him picked. I don't know much about dota so i was wondering what the reasoning for this was. As far as i know he has never been commonly picked in pro dota.
Also i think most the times i've seen him banned it was in G-league.

hes the new flavor of the month, also his ult has been changed, and hes been re added to cm not long ago.
Hes banned because some team still have no clue how to deal with him or just dont want to deal with him
Alot of things during draft are just trends that go and fade away, there is never a 100% legit way to pick and ban

You lose 1/3 of your charges, rounded up. I guess it could be worth it, but be careful using it ^^

does the halberd ability work on the wraith king in wraith night???

Any tips on how to build a #1 position Mirana? I went treads/aquila, yasha, diffusal, finish manta... then wasn't sure what to get next. I ended up getting bfly but think I should've gotten mkb instead. Opposition carries were wraith king and phantom lancer.
I thought diffusal is good for the wraith king if I can get his mana low enough. But we had low dps (team was pudge, magnus, enigma, and kotl) so I think desolator would've been better as it helps with pushing as well as we need to end the game before pl gets big.

No it doesn't.

You should get a midas first (rush midas if free farm, if not get phase first), also phase/drums is usually a little better since most of the time you're building attack speed items. Aquila isn't bad, but normally someone else on your team (enigma in this case) is going to be getting a bassy. Also, normally you'd like to keep your treads on agility for damage, but then you lose survivability. Drums/phase gives you good damage and hp + mana pool (which mirana really needs) Casual yasha is good, diffusal is also good, I think picking up a maelstrom (after diffusal yasha) would help against illusion, mjolnir is really good, and you can transition into MKB then finishing your manta after

I've been enjoying gyrocopter as a carry lately - his skills make him really potent early game in a lane and thus in pubs I can contest many lanes I am against. More importantly, he synergizes so well with many supports and our lockdown is enough to kill anyone out of position in lane. I find in many of my games I never get free farm (due to contesting supports and often people who pick more cores after we already have enough, etc). Under these circumstances I generally get treads, aquila and drums into BKB if there's alot of magical damage or a manta and typical carry items. I was wondering if there are other reasonable builds I can go when I'm behind in farm. I really dislike Shadow Blade on gyro as I feel he can't really initiate with it.
