even if somebody leaves first and the game saids "no stats will be recorded" if somebody manage to die with in the next 5 mins it will still show up on dotabuff.

Oh okay, did not know that.

Well, everything shows up on dotabuff. Dotabuff tracks everything and doesn't distinguish abandoned games.

A game with no stats recorded will also still show up in your match history

When Medusa ults does it go through phase shift from puck? I played a game as puck and I sat a full phase shift duration multiple times and would come out as stone/almost stone.

Unless its a bug, nothing should touch you in phase shift. In dota 1 you where physically removed from the map itself. Medusa ulti works fast though, and you get instantly slowed, so maybe it just seems like its working?

That's actually wrong. You probably don't know because you don't stay long enough to see how it works.
If a kill/towerkill happens before someone leaves, it will always count. If someone is disconnected before the first kill and stays disconnected for 5 minutes, then it will be a nostats game, no matter how many kills happen in the meantime.
If someone is disconnected at the start, kills happen and he then reconnects(everyone is connected to the game), then it will become a stats recorded game.

Any rules of thumb as to how to skill Timbersaw based on how the game is going? Also item choices? I generally just get arcane boots, stick, disassemble into bloodstone then shivas/hex/heart depending on the game.
Played a couple of games as him today, so much fun to play and is super strong...

If your mid you skip timber chains for whirrling death and reactive armor for the most part. Offlane timerbersaw usually skips whirling death for timber chains and reactive armor. Most of the time I want to be 4-3-2-2 or 3-4-2-2 at 11. It is possible to skip reactive armor for more points in whirling death and reactive armor. Your item build is fine, skip bloodstone if it is a really bad game. Blink dagger is situational, it allows for always perfect timber chain lines. Get a bottle if you are mid. Usually if u start stout shield and reactive armor makes u very hard to push out of lane. I also really like sheepstick for Timbersaw. Shivas makes you an aoe god but sheepstick gives u better pickoff power if your team isn't going to farm one quickly.

Depends where you are laning him. When I play him I'm usually offlane and will level my skills 0-1-2-0 to 2-1-2-1 and then start leveling timber chain and then start to roam with mana boots if I still can't do much in lane. With 2 in reactive armor you can harass pretty reliably with whirling death as long as it isn't a trilane with super killing power. If it is a weaker lane I might just get 1 level of armor and the rest in nukes to be more aggresive.

Could you get mek on timber or does the blood stone delay it too much?
|
I don't think bloodstone is necessary on timber, though if his farm is good it's probably adviseable. I think smaller items are smarter for a poor offlaner: manaboots, basilius if your team lacks one, urn if your supports don't need it, medallion even though his damage is pure, force staff, and then vyse as his first big item (could MAYBE make eul's instead if you were really poor, but it's considerably less useful).
Mek is nice, but very mana intense for a hero whose normal functions are already incredibly taxing on his mana pool. Additionally since his chain has him flying all over the place he's not always in position to be able to heal the whole team. Still, it's plausible an offlane timber could be your best mek farmer.

The problem with Mek on Timber is that the hero just guzzles mana, and without a primary mana regen item like Bloodstone, trying to fit a Mek into your mana usage actually can be pretty hard.

mek euls into another4 of orchid/sheep/shivas is perfectly valid on timbersaw if you play it as such

Never had the change to test it, but medusa's ulti when it petrifies them, it gives them 100% magical resistance. So does that mean TC/ET's aura reduces it? nvm, TC gives 33% magical amp, so its just 100%+Hero base magical resistance - TC aura

Can I get a quick crash course on how to Necrolyte mid.
What skills do I max and what items do I build.
