A mix of Sentries and Dust and Gem. Dust can be considered the more offensive option while Sentries the more defensive, reason being that Sentries is about area control while Dust allows you to chase shit as they run around. It also depends on the hero you're using them for. You'll want Sentries against heroes that initiate with invisibility (such as Nyx) so you can see when they are wandering among you, while you'll want Dust against heroes that can run out of Sentry vision quickly. However against certain heroes you may need both Sentries and Dust, such as when you're facing a Clinkz or a Weaver. Of course a Gem would solve everything but then you run the risk of losing it.

Level 10 TA can't quite kill 0 minute roshan with phase bracer medallion. Completing drum or having a mithril hammer etc probably necessary to kill 10+ minute roshan solo. Level 6 Troll with phase medallion dominator can solo 0 minute roshan, if barely. Level 9 Invoker with phase medallion easily killed 0 minute roshan; 10 or 15 minute roshan should be cake as well. I had some bad luck/micro with level 5 enigma with just medallion, but after just resummon of eidolons I took 0 minute roshan well below half hp. Unfortunately Roshan bashed the shit out of my eidolons before any split in the second wave, so I just gave up.

Last hit all the creeps, if you can kill creeps in the jungle without missing any creeps on lane this is good. If you can kill enemy heroes without dying you should kill them. Also dont die, and buy good items.

No game is the same so no clear cut answers could be given. Sure some pointers could be given. Also dont die, and buy good items. To clarify, your objective is normally to farm, not to defend towers. (T3/4s being exceptions, but still farm farm farm and TP only when absolutely necessary) Split pushing is good if you can trade towers and still get out. (Normally you do this when the enemy team is pushing one of your towers) Only TP into fights if you're certain you can get kills out of it otherwise you might end up dying or at least miss out a quite a bit of farm. Learn to farm efficiently and safely (farm jungle if people are missing off map or the lane is pushed too far, and go back in lane when it's near your tower or you see people on map) Also be sure you're aware of where majority of the enemy team is at all times (ask your supports nicely for wards, or if they don't have money, don't be afraid to buy them 150 gold is way better than not being able to farm for ~30s because you got ganked)

If not, would having 3 exort orbs when launching the attack and then quickly changing back to Quas do the trick?

Will I do the full exort dmg when I hit? If not, would having 3 exort orbs when launching the attack and then quickly changing back to Quas do the trick? Damage is calculated when it leaves the hero, and not when it hits. So switching mid air will do nothing to the projectile afaik

I know they had a bug with troll where he could range bash exactly because it didn't work like that. They fixed it for troll. Other heroes, I would need to check too.

My testing wasn't "rigorous" but I'm quite sure I'm correct. Whether its a bug or not... I have no clue ![]()

Thats harder though since 8 damage is harder to notice than the 20+ you can get fairly early from exort. That is, 8 damage is often within normal damage range, whereas 20 or more distinctly is not.

True, along those lines though Armlet + wisp/huskar/dk in dragon form should be pretty obvious (+56 damage).
