Depending on your preference, you might actually want to add the "dota_player_units_auto_attack 1" to other commands such as pressing a. You have to unbind the keys from the normal binding. autoexec.cfg is loaded before normal binds, so normal binds will overwrite them. The alternative is making a separate .cfg to load them after yourself. ok well turns out that even with just those 2 lines you will resume auto attacking if you a move or press s. so thats not an issue. what is this unbinding you speak of? as in manually unbinding stuff in the options every time you open the game? thats quite bothersome... and is it possible to toggle auto attack with just one or two buttons? without binding it to keys that have other functions ok nvm i figured it all out

I'd like to ask what teams are looking for when they draft Crystal Maiden and Venomancer? Some of the other support heroes I know exactly what they want, for example KotL for the anti-push and Bane for the anti-carry. Just can't figure out why you'd want CM and Veno over other supports

Just can't figure out why you'd want CM and Veno over other supports Crystal Maiden is an amazing early game fighter with both AOE slow and singletarget lockdown. This makes her more than good in killing stuff at level 1 or 2, fitting especially for aggressive trilanes. In terms of the whole match Crystal Maiden allows you to win trilane versus trilane which should give you an edge for the midgame as you should have picked a hero who can 1v1 comfortably and then your trilane should win or at least have a very strong chance of doing so.

Just can't figure out why you'd want CM and Veno over other supports theyre extremely strong supports early because they dont need a lot of lvls to fight. veno has the strongest slow in the game at lvl 1, and cm has 2 decent nukes at lvl 2. theyre both aoe heroes too so they pair up really well with another support in lanes. veno also has decent anti push with wards but his impact in the game drops heaps when enemies start picking up bkbs. cm is great all around except shes slow as fuck and so is likely to die in a lot of engagements. if cm got a buff to her move speed she would be a top support once again, and all veno needs is a line up that accommodates him well.

Would this be something I should be doing on a consistent basis? in general you should stack/pull the safelane pull camp only if your safelane is a solo because otherwise your safelane support is not going to have any money (you can certainly stack it whenever you like, but the support needs the money/exp from clearing the stack with a pull).

Like say, which matches had Timbersaw or Batrider. Was wondering if there was an easier way than just dumping all the replays unsorted into my replays folder and looking through them in client. http://dotaflame.com/tournament/heroes/-3 Click the hero you want to analyze.

Believe it's random, though if you're playing in a stack, the whole stack counts as 1 player when it comes to captain chance. (Ie. if you're playing in a 4 stack with 1 random, your stack's leader has a 50% chance of being captain, the random has 50% chance).

I've played 17 CM games solo now and i've been captain 12 times. I know its a small sample size but this can't be completely random.

(He seems really good to me) Tusk is usually mid in Pub as he would love a fast level6 and go about snowballing out of control(pun intended ). He would pretty much play the mid lane like any other bottling mids, just spamming skills to clear creeps and attempt to control the runes.Once he hits 6 he will be a terror to the side lanes as Walrus Punch will pretty much 1shot a support. However in competitive game, he's not that useful as snowball is slow and he's in a weird spot of trying to be too many roles at once. He's trying to be a initiator(snowball), DPS (walrus) and support(doesnt really scale well with items) all at once. To be a initiator he needs hp stuff etc. To be a dps he needs farm and damage items, to be a support he lacks the damage to really contribute and he's a melee support, later on he will just be food whenever he rolls in as he lacks the gold for items. Thus there's really not a niche that he can fill in that others can't do better and more effectively.

If there were stacks in the games that you played (not terribly unlikely unless you are absolutely sure you had Solo Queue checked), then it is not inconceivable for you to have been captain that many times. Unlikely sure, but not impossible. I'd call it lucky coincidence ![]() ^ To the above: Centaur stampede with snowball! Hilariously funny. No more slow snowballs at least!

Tusk is actually an ok 4 position support. He's a good ganker and he plays out pretty similar to Nyx, although I think Nyx is a far more well rounded hero. As a support he's insanely good lategame vs melee carries becaues frozen sigil ignores magic immunity (if u can keep it alive)
