There are a few lists around the internet such as the one just linked but the best way to figure it out is to just come across each of the exceptions one by one and learn about them the hard way.
Regarding Global Silence - if he pops GS first and then you BKB, you are no longer silenced; if you pop BKB first and then he casts GS then you become silenced as well. Similar interaction to roots from Treant's ult as well as Lone Druid's entangle.

Really it's just about positioning during the fight. 90% of your contribution during that fight should just be buffing your carry with overcharge and maybe hitting people with balls. And all you need to do that is stay in tether range. So try to stay far back or in trees, or on high ground, or such things to make yourself a difficult target.
Don't be trying to run into melee range and get tether stuns off in late game if it will get you killed.

He seems really fun so far but I have much trouble hitting my stomps without someone like a sven to initiate. Is this just the way the hero is, or do you guys have any tips, tricks, or meta tactics to hit good stomps? He's really fun indeed. To land the stun, cast your astral behind the ennemy team and instantly stomp. I think he's a very strong heroe. One easy way to land stomps is eul. It's also a good farming tool on ET as it provides all the mana you need, the movement speed is also great for attacking. ET is strong early game thanks to astral and lategame thanks to this wtf aura, it's specially amazing on agi carries who counts on their agility to get armour because it means they have 0 armour if you're close to them. He's a very versatile heroe, who can initiate, scout, push, stall, good in teamfight, scales very well into lategame, just play him as a sololaner, preferably mid as it's the easiest solo lane. His weakness is that he's not really good in 1o1 but he's still hard to kill because he can escape with a good stomp.
Awesome tips, thanks so much. Scouting with spirit is also a smart idea I hadn't thoight of at all. Also i discovered shift queuing my spirit stomp combo helps so much (not a pro animation canceller).
My current build is soul ring tranqs into fast mek, finish treads then i choose either drum urn or euls, finally starting towards that almighty refresher orb.
Anyway good stuff, thanks again

In my (albeit limited) experience, beating a farmed sniper generally either takes an extreme tank or a long range/instant cast attacking spell, and preferably both. Some of my favorite heroes to do this with are Chaos Knight and Brewmaster, who are both good teamfighters and have methods of getting in sniper's face (brew with blink). Of course, the easiest way to deal with him is just shut him down before he gets farmed, which isn't all that hard unless the sniper has competent supports.
Edit: Tiny is also a fun one to use, because he can make sniper stun himself.

In the watch tab, under live games, there is a quarter circle diagram for every team. Anyone know what it measures?
|
The circle is split into segments, and each segment is a tower. When a segment is missing, the tower has been taken.

Does ethereal blade drow work? she has high agi from her ult, and can attack with her orb...

it works but its not optimal. maybe if your team is primarily comprised of ranged carries you could get it, but theres so many other items drow needs. pretty situational
is it just me or is blink different in dota 2? i swear in dota 1 blink was instant, but in dota 2 there is a slight delay because the hero has to face the direction youre blinking to. for example, in dota 1 im quite certain that you could run forward then blink backwards instantly, whereas in dota 2 your hero actually turns around to blink backwards. the turning around bit causes the blink to come off a split second later, which in many of my games has been problematic. maybe im wrong about this, but i just have this feeling that blink is slower than before edit: blink dagger btw, not the skill

I was reading this guide http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=418974 and I had a question about early game items. It says I will need a mana regen item and lists a couple choices like soul ring and the urn. The part i am confused about is right after where he says "round off the early game with some BOOTS" and then I believe it says something about switching the boots to magic mode to regen a little. Does this mean I should get both the soul ring and the boots or just one or the other?

If you have Treads on Agility you will get regen your health/mana faster with the regen from soulring. So you should have it on agility when you need to regen a bit and are not fighting.
To be superefficient with treads you also want to have treads on agility when you use bottle If you cast spells you want them on intelligence and then swap back to strength. But that's a bit higher level. If you watch pro games you will often see them changing the colour of their treads depending on what they do. A lot of the good antimages will swap to Intelligence right before they blink and then back to agility to farm.

Got a small noobquestion about builds for phantom lancer. I like the phantomlancer because all but 1 of his abilities are passive, so, a nubhero if u can keep urself alive until ur strong enough ofcourse.
My question :
If an illusion is created, what is copied? So, stats + autochance from weaponsskills also? Ive read somewhere that diffusalblade rox with this character becuz the difussalskill is copied to illusions also. This means the illusions do extra damage and lower the opponents mana. It basiccally criples heros to the bone. Pretty potent. So, would a maelstrom also work with illussions and if not, why not? What do illussions copy and what not?
Thx peepz

Ok, so basically it duplicates difussalblade + attack and movementspeed decrease/increase threw items and spells + stats
This leaves a question about diffusalblade then : How many blades is most potent? I guess 2 Difussal blades would do quite well or is that overdoing it?
Thx in advance!

Orb effects don't stack. So only one diffusal blade would work.
