He's not a really good carry, and will get progressively weaker the later the game goes, until the point where most of his use will come from his stuns, and not his damage. He will require a lot of farm to solo anyone as the game goes on(which he most of the time will have to do to stop splitpushers). So basically: outfarm him. Once you get hex on, say NP or Tinker, he basically can't touch you anymore unless he's simply way more farmed than you. Don't let him take off during the early game, or he will snowball hard. Don't aggressively counterpush too much in the midgame until you are sure you can handle him on your own. Aggressive warding also helps you spot him coming towards you. I can't speak for competitive games, but in pubs most SB (myself included) tend to charge very fast if they see someone out of position. Hide a guy or two right around the corner to kill him as soon as he arrives, and you'll be sure he will think twice before charging next time.

Somewhere between laning phase and mid game spirit breaker can start ganking. One of the best ways to beat SB is to make sure his ganks are not successful. If he can't get experience and gold from his quasi global ganks, he is just an average hero with weak teamfight presence. To stop his ganks, I would recommend rune wards and defensive play when going far away from your towers. Strongly consider using tp scrolls to follow sb and stop his ganks. That way he has to farm on lanes like normal heroes and gets easier to handle.

The issue is that snowball is pretty slow and so teams can usually run from it. If you bring most of your team with you are all clumbed up for and aoe spell and if you don't you are in the middle of the enemy team like clockwork but without cogs to help you out.

His lategame for a support of that role is actually pretty good (both the Frozen Sigil aura and Walrus Punch act through magic immunity).

It's purely to show that you were a part of the beta for Dota2, and shows how many people you invited into the beta also (if you did do that)
