Would not be the biggest disaster losing against MVP and EG to drop out of the tournament tbh, they are literally teams that are still a tier above navi nowadays
Its sad because the other bracket looks far easier for navi, pretty sure we could beat either AF or Empire, EG its a different beast (even if its a different roster) Yea well, easy on the first half of the way, hard on the second. The other way around would net more $$$ for them. On another topic, why does ArtStyle not play Doom? He does well in the jungle and is tanky enough to let him dive/suicide just like he likes to do. I would like to see how he performs with it.
Because Doom is a melee hero with an important ultimate. Artstyle with his horrible positioning will never be able to play Doom well XD On a serious note, I think if they do pick jungle Doom, sonneiko would play it instead.
I said before, I think Bounty is such a good pick against Navi, because they ALWAYS somehow fuck up sometime in mid game, and Bounty gives so much gold to the enemy.

We lost boys, but wathever, not that it matters much, not sure why we played against empire but still, didnt watch the games but... New patch, not much time to practice it, this tournament was always going to be kinda random... Once things settle down, pretry sure we can beat Empire
Just keep the good work, even EG looks shaky so soon

Yeah, disappointing, but i'll chalk it up to new patch, experimentation, and hope they do better at next tournament.

No team looks good right now. Secret lost in embarrassing fashion. EG is struggling with Peru teams again, and it's possible DigitalChaos could be stronger than them in NA. Liquid might still be strong, but we don't know.
This team's only problem is shallow heroes causing them to lose grasp of this patch. Dendi used to play so many heroes at a top level, or at least a core at a top level but a large pool at a level that looked acceptable; but these days he seems to be limited to just a few. You never saw him play Ember Spirit at all during this short reign, for example. His last Ember game was three months ago. His last competitive Alchemist game was December 2013.
He has some practice to do.

I think the team's biggest weakness still is consistency, day to day, series to series. They can look and play really well, but then can't keep it up consistently.

Hopefully when the Major arrives they will be on the same level.
Also, ArtStyle keeps getting banned. They have to find a way around it.

I also think Dendi needs to polish his invoker a little bit. He just seems to have a hard time landing good combos, I dunno. I'm not an invoker player so I don't really know how to hero works but watching some like Miracle and then Dendi it just seems Dendi has a lower impact overall. (it's very scary to see a Miracle invoker)

The way both games develop and are approached is completely different.

I actually believe they lack consistency tbh, they have a decent hero pool (bar artstyle) and while dendi could kearn a hero or 2 (Alche would be great) its not like he actually lacks in options
When they are playing well and they are focused, they have thw tools, they are cohesive, move like a unit and even have discipline.
But getting to do that in every match and keep your head cool even in the worst situations (which they have done, more than once this line up) its one of the hardest things to do in the game (and in any other sport/esport for all that matter)
So, while im not worried for Navi in general, im worried that this consostency doesnt show up by the major time, if it shows we are in the clear to do a decent/good tournament.

I agree and I am afraid that this lack of consistency may translate, sooner or later, to comunication problems and internal conflict. Hopefully it won't happen for a long time. We will see

I really never believed that navi will start winning tournaments again. All I'm asking is for them to give teams a hard time, as well as the occasional upsets.

This qualifier is so scary... NaVi really dodged the bullet there.
I think Icefrog really f*cked up releasing the patch so close to the quals.

Ok, noob question, why people comment "---Nuked---" so often? What does it mean?
