Well that was another outplay from VG

Since EG beat them 2-0 in groupstages in the last tournament they are now 0-5 vs them xD If they are to win this tournament they need to find a way to beat VG and fast, today they tried both out farming them and out pacing them and both failed.

Beastcoast or IG could be huge slip ups as well but im hoping they beat either of them tomorrow and get back to at least the losers finals but that is taking out some top teams.

It's same old EG; they come in with a strategy that gets exposed by a better team then they try to out greed them and lose.

Unless they change their approach fundamentally I don't see them getting a TI win even if they change roster yet again (unless it's like full disband + bulba gone).

Yeah, i just want them in a grand final, competing for the top spot would be a real improvement regardless of losing said final. Getting to the final of majors and tournaments is one step and the next is to win them consistently. Getting to final of the first two tournaments of the year would be huge for me at least being a fan and seeing them grow.

it looks like they've realized 4p1 with a hero that takes 25 minutes to come online is dead this patch, which is promising. I think they can beat vici if they just pick drafts that will let them play dota

I really like Abed don't miss Sumail. Ramzes had some really good games also. What i miss with this squad is more Flex picks, where more position can play the same hero.

with OG being 2/5 new players again, i think EG is a threat to go grand finals every event for the rest of the season. The draft issue just absolutely has to get solved if they're going to win an event. They have to be quicker to understand the meta and adapt to it

Meh noone knew anything about this meta, they were pretty fast if you ask me. They even brought the ench idea that became standard for almost every team.

They were tired from playing 8 games in a day and they actually haven't had much experience playing Bo5s in the last 2 years (as a team), going 2-3 against Secret is still a good result imo.

Pretty good result too.

Secret actually almost lost the series to them and EG has alot more room to grow
