I can find the quote right now, but I remamber an interwieve with zai a couple months back or so, were he stated that he would most like to play pos 4 or 5 when he came back to dota, he felt this is the position he could do most good. And that he would be interested in trying any role except mid.
And I agree, keeping Bulba is still an option, I think a duo of zai and bulba as 3/4 could also work fine, both can play support and offlane.
I have stated before that I also felt Aui is the weakest link, im curious to see what happends.

Not sure what happened to make him leave in the first place so hard to say but things definitely haven't been working in Secret Agree, I think they are really down atm after such an intense training periode... They had some weeks on a bootcamp in turkey I think. And having these kinds of results... I think Uni has been given a bit to much of the blame tho, puppey have been horrible at Manila imo. And his drafts havent been good for a long time imo.

Yea I don't think one can really blame one person from the outside, I just meant it hasn't been working in general

Just to put out the "facts" we got:
Tweets the last day: Bone7: "volvo roster locks lmao" Kaipi Manager: "Guys, politics is really fun. Or is it are really fun, I actually don't care." Zai: "i am bleeding blue over here"
And for those who think zai would be going to Secret, ive stolen some "facts" from reddit: Most of the speculation is based around Zai going to EG or Secret. Secret is pretty much an impossibility for multiple reasons: *Zai isn't listed as a sub on Secret, so this would guarantee open qualifiers *Secret has the worst case of "greedy player syndrome" in history. They're not going to add another greedy 3/4. *Whether Zai is an upgrade over Universe or PLD (currently their best performer) is very, very debatable. This pretty much leaves EG as the main culprit.

EG isn't going to give up an Automatic Invite. Neither is Secret. But EG has Zai as a sub, so they can switch 1 player for him. This wasn't supposed to happen, but such a bad situation will cause it.
But, let's all be happy that Arteezy + Cr1t stack didn't happen. Then 3 of 4 top Western teams would have gotten rotated.
We should probably also note that Fear going back to Carry would only need to be for 2 months. TI6 ain't that far away.

If Arteezy had joined another team I doubt Secret would have changed to begin with.
I also am not nearly as convinced as you about the teams holding onto their invites (assuming they are getting them). It's hard to say how they are feeling inside the teams, but if they don't see how they can win TI with these rosters I think they'll make changes, invite or not.

Yeah and now is the "time" to change if you plan on doing so, alot of lans coming up. China, BTS 6, ESL, StarLadder and another one is bound to pop up too.

Yeah, I agree with that... if they cant believe they have apossibility to win it all, I also think they will sacrifice it all to make the changes needed (Secret that is).
+ I hope we dont take rtz back again... even after TI.

Aslong as Rtc came back to play position 1 i would take him back anyday. He is the best farmer in the game and he was doing well with EG, we were struggling to straight up win the LANs but we were very close, didn't even look like we played very well at times and still did fine making a top 3. Im sure that squad would have been 15% better than their previous performances when they hit TI6 and Seattle, no doubt about it.
However we only look from the outside in, but im sure Rtz is regretting his move to Secret again, one because of how that organization is run and two because of how difficult it has been to play with them. Zai said on stream with Bone7 that the picks Secret were doing in scrims were making no sense at all and they followed it up with bad drafting and bad play at the major.

The way he left EG in the dirt two times now... last time 2 days before the biggest and most important roster lock of the year just shows how bad of a person he is, he should be happy that EG took him back in the first place, and learned from his mistakes. He was doing ok when he played with us, but he is still a bit overrated, "best farmer" title isnt really that meaningful when u are a shit person that doesnt contribute much els to a team.

Considering we know the Top 8 of Manila now, the TI6 Invites should look about like this:
OG, Secret + Manila Winner.
EG, MVP, Fnatic, TL & Alliance.
Newbee will get an invite, since they've secured Top 3 at Manila.
Other Top 4 Manila Finisher.
ESL One Frankfurt Winner.
That's 11 slots. I assume they'll invite 10 again, as that seems to be about how many teams to invite.
(Alliance is the "bubble" team in this situation, btw.)
If any of Na'Vi, VG.R or LGD can make Top 4, they'll get an invite. I honestly don't believe Top 6 will get you an invite straight to TI6, unless it's VG.R, since they won a tournament.
ESL One Frankfurt should be the last major LAN before TI6 invites go out, so there's a few teams with a chance for a direct invite if they win. Nanyang is going to be too late, I think.
So, really, teams really shouldn't give up their direct Invites. Work it out. It's completely within their hands to solve the problems going into TI6.

Secret announced Universe leaving and Bulba joining, so pretty sure EG is taking both Universe and Zai in. Both teams to open quals unless rules change

I think generally of a few points: 1. Sumail and RTZ together - probably too greedy. One should play a little more as a utility core especially if coupled with a jungler (which lets be honest, EG will do in a lot of games). More on the greed, at some point mid game kicks in, if for some reason the laning stage didnt go so well, they are on enormous pressure to salvage with more risky 'efficiency' plays. Sometimes a self-fulfilling prophecy. 2. If it came down to having either Sumail or RTZ, i think Sumail is more preferred. Personally, I find his style more flexible. He can be more aggressive. He is a little less efficient. He helps create space even with cores that scale well - this is important especially in a mid-game centric meta. 3. Fear complemented Sumail so much as a core - can you imagine Aggressif and Sumail on the same team? 4. Bulba has some nice individual plays but his ability to cohesively play with Fear seems a little lacking. 5. Aui needs to seriously learn how to play carry. Not to last hit - we know he can do that. But to team fight well. When to contribute. When to back. When to @#*@(&#(^@Q$^@ 6. I hope we never take RTZ back - I think the major has showed how many skilled players there are in the world. I think taking in Sumail has showed how nurturing a young player can yield dividends. Let's not risk it with RTZ again to be ripped a new one just before another lock

I remember when we bowed out of Shanghai major when Rtz somehow managed to get a 15 minute radiance on Naga after getting ganked 3 times and EG were like dying everywhere on the map. No doubt that Suma1l has looked alot better since rtc left not sure if that is because PPD drafts a different style or they just play differently, or maybe Suma1l is justs playing better i don't know. Still id make him sign a proper meaningful contract if he rejoined this time. You sign for 1 year and another team/rtc has to buy himself out of it every year There is a reason contracts are used in football, lets start implementing them properly in ESPORTS. Make your players commit to playing for you and not leaving unless someone or some organization buys the contract out. I agree with the contract part. But I still dont want him back, we can find better carry players that actually cares about theier team and has some moral. Not some emo kid with a twitch chat cult party who doesnt give a shit about anything and gives up when things are rough. He clearly does not mesh with alott of players when actually playing. He had his shoot(s) at bleeding blue.
