Gloomhaven update:

Tinker Wife is progressing as a summoner and DPS character. She shoots mobs and summons a harmless robot to set up backstabs and soak damage.

I’m moving down of a hit and run rogue that does extra damage if I move over 4 hexs. Not a single magic item to our names and we are poor as fuck. I can only hope the money starts flowing in soon because Jesus stuff costs a lot.

With the way things are shaping up I'd be worried about a lot of political violence or a coup. I really hope it doesn't boil down to that. The US diplomats who were urged to leave within 72 hours by Maduro were told to hold because the US doesn't recognize Maduro's authority anymore. Things could get dicier, especially with countries taking sides on who to recognize as the leader.

Also the Atlantic took a risk and published a big exposé on Bryan Singer. The two writers who were working on it for a year claim they got it killed by Esquire's higher ups at Hearst when it was approved by editors and vetted quite heavily. Though like a lot of these Hollywood creeps, it was an open secret for a loooong time. It's definitely eye-catching stuff they report, and has you wondering who else was in those "parties".

Long days passing fast doing less useful work than I'd like to but as I'm getting to know the ins and outs of my new main clientele and how the company operates in general, I consider this fine.
Getting a bit sick, or rather ill, for the brits, right now which is unfortunate, as my colleague's wife might give birth any given day and the longer he stays the easier it is for me to get into things.

I'll have to pull my weight soon enough so I'm kinda stressed out by being thrown right into things, but on the other hand I'm confident enough to think I'll be able to do that and this is so much better than the old job. Ten hours on the job (including breaks) feel way shorter than 8.5 before that. It also helps a lot that my parents support me with free housing until we can secure a place. May they be blessed!

It has been a nightmare there for well over a year. I’m just shocked our government supported the coup without first assuring the safety of our diplomats. Well not that shocked, considering, but surprised the diplomats were not instantly pulled out of the country.

It's kind of crazy how much Squeenix squeezed out the Kingdom Hearts games with spinoffs, branching games, and remasters spread across consoles and mobile platforms to finally reach the third mainline game. Also this is a good year for games with three big launches already.
