Have you heard anything regarding the prolongation of your contract? Btw that kitchen sounds rad, can you link a picture of a similar one? Generally. Considering corporate/government buildings mostly go through infastructure standards and it's usually multiple times the size of the usual house. It is still susceptible to earth's tantrums tho. I haven't. Seems like i might have to look for another job. Tho this isn't unusual for contractual employees of the government here. I mean not hearing about the extension but getting extended anyways. Depends on how this works out. I'll find out in january. In the meantime i am looking for jobs online (whether my contract gets extended or not i would still work online anyways) It is currently night here so i can't really take a decent picture but it is similar to those floating houses on seaside you would see. Except on our case the below is ground instead of water. So kinda like this except it doesn't look good as this and it is alot higher than this. Also below the place isn't water . It is made of wood so it definitely shakes when you walk around but we already reconstructed the pillars recently so it is fine

![]() Microphone has a loose connection so it only works when I take the back lid off and put my finger on the cable. Finding a new phone is so fucking hard though. Ideally I only ask for Android One, 3.5mm jack, SD-Card slot, less than 6" and no notch. But there is like one phone that fits the criteria. Now I am eying a Nokia 7.1 I could get for 240€. It has the notch but at least the rest seems up to my expectations.

I need to replace the motherboard and CPU without spending a ton. I can salvage the ram and graphics card. For power she is looking to run games Overwatch and the Sims 4. So I’m thinking a mid range I5 or something like that. Where are the good prices these days?

Yep : https://www.microcenter.com/product/505628/ryzen-5-2600-34ghz-6-core-am4-boxed-processor-with-wraith-stealth-cooler Here's an example of a combo, but you might want to go up to a normal ATX as I went with micro and have been regretting saving the 30-40$ ever since. https://www.microcenter.com/product/5002558/amd-ryzen-5-2600-with-wraith-stealth-cooler,-gigabyte-b450m-ds3h-cpu---motherboard-bundle
