If you are using it IN a dish you thaw it out and shell it, then just put it in whatever you want. (crab cakes or w/e) But usually people buy pre shelled crab for that, and when they buy legs or clusters they want to serve them shell in for the presentation. (ps. those are basically the type of crab i have access to catching myself this time of year for personal use. Snow crab is kind of a market name. Most people here refer to them as "tanner crab", but technically there is two types. Baradai and Opilio those are probably the latter.) | ||

It isn't exactly an exclusive problem to Dota/Mobas though, online games in general have that issue. Even on games with fairly high female player counts like WoW it can be an issue. edit: It's not really a problem at higher mmrs, because women are even rarer there, and because anyone at that level expects lots of flame anyways. | ||

The flame won't stop whether we like it or not, The amount of racial stuff i hear in pubs is ridiculous tbh (insert all racial slur here on sea pubs) hell i even hear insults about the other player being poor or having no future in life (geez what people are willing to say) Ideally the community would be friendly and nice and those who are flamey get isolated in their own personal queing hell but the reality is that people will flame people. They don't get exempted from it neither do we. Outside video games tho. I do hear my friends (most of my friends are girls) complain to me about being disrespected | ||

The reality is that the game is like that because Valve doesn’t’ give a shit and will let the player base abuse each other because they are making money. And that means that women won’t want us voice chat because they know Dota is a safe space for people to say terrible shit just because they have a voice that sounds like a woman. I like Dota as a game, but let us not kid ourselves and think that this is some unsolvable problem. It is just a problem that would take a lot of effort and Valve is to busy making a pay to win card game with no proxies. | ||
