I did not know what would happen. I did know we were going out in the middle of nowhere, when the stars aligned I had 1 bar on 4g (normal calls works fine). So all the suggested games would not work, no internet really. At least in my experience that is normal when people get together since the games you mentioned is for when at home and the other person is at their home somewhere else.
Last time that I missed they seemed to have done some board games, this time he brought a switch and a bunch of controllers. I would never organise something like that, way too much effort. So need to find people that are organisers I guess. :D

women in the US used to sell cosmetics at parties but that died out in like the 70's. This sounds like a pretty cool revival of that practice

Seriously, if they could remake Last of Us with 15% of the murder, I would love the hell out of that game. That game was great when it was just me, my back with a single pistol and 5 bullets and one brick.
You should check out Gris afterwords. It isn't challenging at all, but my wife and I enjoyed it for its design. It is a beautiful game.
Also, I'm back on my Monster Hunter bullshit and its still great. I'm slowly building up a build to fight arch tempered Lunastra and Kushala, both of which are their own flavor of bullshit.

I'm excited to try out Gris, and glad to hear it's interesting (don't care about challenge/lack of).
Celeste was amazing, was an easy shoe in for my game of the year this year. Though I didn't get to play that many different games so it wasn't too competitive, but the game is just lovely.
Also recommend Night in the Woods if you are up for just a narrative stroll no challenge type game.

I had to deal with a friend of a friend this week who was kinda down on it because it was an “interactive art piece” rather than a game. But he wasn’t deep into video games so he wasn’t prepared for how done I was in 2015 with that entire discussion.
Side note: A parent who was listening to the discussion also pointed out that Candy Land’s existence invalidates any theory that there is a minimum challenge level required to be considered a game.

Considering how well sony is doing in the console sector atm i wouldnt be surprised if the leak was intentional, they've got all kinds of big stuff going on particularly negotiating hardware deals with amd and others for the new ps

We will see if Sony can seal the deal next generation. All the people who made the PS4 as good as it is have left Sony and I don’t know if anyone filled that void.

Weird that is a huge trend here where i live. At least a portion of every girl i know sells some cosmetic. It has been becoming more prevalent over the years cause social media makes it easy.

Oh so it was improvised. A unexpected but a welcome one then.
God i loved those times me and my friends just played wc3 mods and there were like 10-12 of us. It was pure bliss.

They'll listen to science when it's convenient, not when it threatens their bottom lines.
It may not be apocalyptic, but we're looking at a future where resources are more scarce than ever and countries get into wars over clean water and food, the oceans are lifeless, and refugees from high water levels or lack of drinking water are crowding into cities. If you thought the refugee crisis was bad today, I expect things to get far, far worse in the next 20-30 years.
That just sounds sad. And it kinda feels bad for the children. Here i am doing my very best to prepare my nephews for the future and then there are those people who doom everybody in the firstplace.
And i don't even think making them feel guilt works as the people i've who are extremely rich don't even care about that (which is what i usually read in social medias or protesters etc)
Remember that theory about the great-barrier why there hasn't been any intelligent species we encountered since us ? Maybe this is the great barrierfilter whether we could overcome our greed and self-destruction over self-preservation. That's a stupid thought tho don't mind me
