That aesthetic is overflowing with economic, gender and racial baggage, but Obsidian's writing team did an amazing job with PoE2. They are up to the challenge of making a compelling story and not running away from the more complex issues that surround that era. Now if they can just make combat that is compelling. PoE2's combat was...um...acceptable, but nothing special. I want them to take the lessons from Dragon Age one and realize they can have the old school combat without 2000 of questionable quality/usefulness abilities. And that some good combat animations goes a long way. It reminds me a bit of Arcanum in that it's taking a well trodden theme but applying it in a new way (for a video game) that could create a really compelling world.

I read somewhere that there are a bunch of conflicts amongst the directors/cast for season 2 of american gods, so it might be odd (but it was always super weird).

is this a serious post? honestly curious cuz all the gaiman books mentioned are great and then you put this on same page as them, and if so ill buy them and read ty. but while id heard of them i didnt actually hear they were good. im so out of good things to read right now im re-reading malazan book of the fallen rofl and im still slightly unconvinced its a re-read series. also in diary news: my dog was howling outside so I went out to get him in my slippers and got snow on them and then came back in to my hardwood floor and had the most awful flailing wildly around slipping fall ive had in a long time and everything hurts like hell my should better be ok. wtf

I've just recently discovered Queen and Don't Stop Me Now will definitely be played on my wedding party, absolutely no fucking doubt about that. And that kinda prompted me to branch out a bit again regarding my music consumption. I'm gonna give Helloween a try! Thanks fam

AND DID U SEE THE FUCKING CASTING CALL FOR ARTEMIS FOWL????????? + Show Spoiler + seeking the lead role of, Artemis; must be 5'3" or below, any ethnicity but must have or can do Irish accent. At first glance Artemis could be mistaken for a rather ordinary child with little athletic ability, but his eyes reveal a flickering of intelligence; inquisitive and possessing both academic and emotional intelligence, he is highly perceptive and good at reading people; most importantly, Artemis is warm-hearted and has a great sense of humour; he has fun in whatever situation he is in and loves life. No previous acting necessary. unbelievably fucking outrageous actually
