just for some context. a person repeatedly trashing women is something structurally different from a person trashing everyone.
I don't want to look at a persons stupid videos on yt, but that extends to 95% of yt videos and not jsut this guy. Even without me seeing the videos talked about, the above holds true. Structural is the important word, in case you've missed it. idk what kind of argument that is so I'm just going to disregard it but I'm fairly certain this guy had videos titled "guy drowns in shit in RDR2" or "feeding people to crocodiles" or "deporting a mexican" so it's not like the game is just an outlet for misogyny for him are you suggesting some people are born inherently different and inferior artisreal

And this is not a hard concept to grasp. Shitty dude uses the medium of video games to promote violence against women. If he created videos using make up and actors, his ass would still get it trouble because violence against women is a fucked up thing to promote.
There are alternative views on this, but they suck and are not worth my time to debate with. If you want to defend the shitty dude who wants to beat women, you do you. Just don’t expect some sort of civil debate about censorship on a private platform that is footing the bill for this guy’s bandwidth. you didn't explain why violence against women is worse than violence against men or anyone in general and why one of these things is not problematic even IRL men are many times more likely to become victims of violence does the keyword structural apply here, men are structurally different and inferior What the fuck is a leftist megacorporation? Being far to the left equates to anti capitalism, being pro-labor and intense social responsibility. How the hell does anyone square that with a company like Google, that is firmly anti union and strongly dislikes regulation. A website that hosts white nationalist trash all the god damn time too. anti-capitalistic not hosting some sites/people because a non-journo writes a hitpiece on it that gets clicks is a pretty ideological move especially when everyone knows every other site hosts such "problematic" people just the same they are not only sacrificing their own profits but preventing others from competing and they only ever go after "white supremacists, far-right, alt-right, neo-nazi" or whatever the buzzword for political dissident happens to be at the time haven't seen any corporation publicly stop working with harvard when it's openly a filthy nest of racists P6

personally I think it's great that China is getting woke on racism and discrimination and a fake social media outrage is a great opportunity to get them involved in some small internal issues as well

entirely clueless how you managed to think of that response to my post tbqh. well done

Buzzword: a word or phrase, often an item of jargon, that is fashionable at a particular time or in a particular context.
"white supremacists, far-right, alt-right, neo-nazi" are not a buzzwords, you nugget. Neo-Nazi has been around since the 1950s. Whites Supremacist for just as long. Alt-right is a label adopted by White Supremacists in the modern era. Get off whatever edgelord site is feeding you trash and read a book.

This west vs china thing is spiraling out of control. Every single word gets analysed and tested for racism. And yet some players keep writing borderline comments. #respect is a mere joke, since some chinese players aren't doing any better than they propose. I think we need to KeSPA this shit up. The three allowed phrases are "glhf", "pp" and "gg". If you go above the allowed contingent of phrases for a match, you get disqualified.
I am kinda mad that this is the main Dota topic for over a week now. How hard is it to learn from mistakes and stop being dickheads.

It was ppp though, wasn't it? I think a player once lost a game cause he typed pp.

yeah Leta typed pp and got dq'd for it lol.

I remembered it the wrong way. Thought he typed ppp and got disqualified.

now on the subject of dota: I think nearly every single game the team that pushes high ground first ends up losing like for the last six months at least almost like there's something wrong with the economy, or the game just gets harder I've noticed some pro streamers really just sit back and farm for 15 minutes after taking all the outer towers Personally, it would be great if even the outer towers were harder to kill to build map control, and aoe abilities/DPS was nerfed slightly to bring back dynamics in to the game, force teams into more scrappy games I don't usually watch pro dota but a lot of those games also devolve into waves of 5-man high ground pushes or the boring farming period for one team

In case you missed it, we had a synagogue attacked recently in the US where a man yelled “All Jews must die”. Hate crimes are up in the US. Neo-Nazis marched in a major city, started a riot armed to the teeth and killed someone. They were Neo Nazis because they called themselves that and carried around Nazi flags.
Again, you have me confused with someone who gets their news from youtube videos or the tabloids. Or someone who is uneducated in the terms you feel are being misused or simply have not bothered to educate yourself on. It would better for everyone if you worked on that.

I almost wish that IceFrog nerfs blink dagger. These days it seems to be a core item on every hero. Also, bring back supports and make lvl25 something special again. Not something to be expected 30 minutes in.

So the same girl who didn't respond to me anymore just invited me for a dinner date
Weird how the entire racism thing is such a big deal when I'm fairly certain that almost all gamers can badmouth to their enemies a lot(teammates even)
I honestly literally could not care less about the issue. I don't see why people it as such a big deal
Maybe its just me not caring about the issue at all.

Think it is you not considering it an issue. If I have people on my friends list insulting enemies or allies I tend to remove them. I had a person I played with for 6+ years in various games that started getting caustic in game and it finally broke up the friendship.
In a solo game it is easier, just mute enemy team in settings and mute allies that flame. Though no point reporting since one would run out of them for the ruiners. I used to report for over the top flaming but after all the remakes of the report system it no longer makes sense to do.
As with any bullying or similar it is the recipient and not the sender that decides.
This specific case does not effect me or anybody near me so I don't have the energy to care about it. But I think those that do care is in the right.

that's why i was talking about the internet, because I don't really care about the US or your right and left wing nazis all I've heard was #killalljews trending on twitter but there's a lot of individuals who get labeled all those things for opposing pc-culture, identity politics and even multi-culturalism, all things one can oppose through reasonably arguments and plain old science and things people should be free to discuss and debate
but I am willing to accept your statement that you have not seen those terms misused
I on the other hand have seen even something like the guardian (which I think is generally a decent newspaper) call Jordan Peterson a dangerous rightwinger right in the title under their news section and then the article is more or less like a hitpiece written by their music writer citing some really dubious sources and littered with "quotation marks" as if every single thing he says is crypto-nazi code language
and I would probably still rate their site higher than any of the american news sites
www.newsguardtech.com that said has anybody tried this, I found it quite interesting reading their full evaluations and I understand it's a work in progress but what kind of annoys me is that there aren't any notices about the updates to the ratings also not sure if something like this can work without a lot of co-operation from the major news outlets
