I think apart from the mirror matchups (MB except TvT) every single one of them is fun to watch.

also I thought effort vs last semifinals was maybe a better series but both were surprisingly excellent. The thing about the zoom feature is it almost cheapens how utterly impossible it is to get 200 supply armies to do what you want in that game.

Now with the better graphics it's even fun to just watch the supply depot or a nydus canal and look for the changes they made. The rare hive zvz is always fun.

Certainly won't dedicate much time in actually playing it.

If you can zoom out and watch the whole battle, then you don't feel how the players are frantically trying to manage this massive battle with their tiny screen and vastly inadequate control groupings, lack of smart casting, terrible pathfinding and hotkey locations, etc. I mean yeah it looks cool and I like it, It's just a shame that it further distances you from the supreme mechanical prowess that these players are displaying. It's nice sometimes to be reminded that with 40 supply I couldn't make the control look as smooth as these players with their 200.

You cant lose a single drone, a single zergling, etc. Sure, build-order losses are kinda lame but it's also a super cool mindgame. its like 5d rock paper scissors with a ton of execution thrown in. I think all of ZvZ is fun except when it's like 3 stacked groups of mutas fighting and literally no one can tell who is winning until they've already lost

I read on TL that the semi with effort was nice to watch too but firstly didn't find any vods to torrent and secondly didn't have the time (no Internet at home xd) Casters were a bit too hype and sweeping in their assessment for my taste but were fine on the whole. It's sometimes similar to football, when they shoot a pass over 3/4 of the field and the receiving player just stops it with one little flick of his foot. Bam mind blown. Everyone aghast. At the same time, no big deal for the players.

That thread (and more specifically the post I linked for Effort v Last) has all the BW vods. It's ususally a few days behind (probably for spoiler purposes? idk) but it's very easy to find what you want. Tastosis casting combo is about as good as it gets for English, even if sometimes they can grate. If you can't stand them, there are usually youtube vods of the korean casters somewhere out there for the true BW experience.

But I've forgotten about that thread, it's been so long... Tastosis I appreciate, but the haute cuisine would be subtitled Korean Casters. But that's so much work that it's unlikely to be done for all but the very best casts..

Even if it wasn't a big deal to lack it, they should still offer it for whatever margin of people still want it.

Is it maybe more complicated than with a USB-C port? I dunno... Saving space for..... À second speaker ?

I honestly can't think of why, besides "elegance" or something but maybe it had to do with waterproofing.
