+ Show Spoiler + From my readings online and watching a few streams, the general consensus is that RDR2 is super immersive, interactive, and clearly a work that was crafted with an immense amount of blood, swear, and tears poured into it, but isn't exactly "fun". The controls are said to still be very sluggish and shooting is imprecise without the auto-lock, the animations for virtually every action get tiresome after the first few times, and there's a lot of scripted elements that might turn people off. Most of the reviews glossed over the gameplay which is a bit suspect. That being said, people are also praising how it is a very deliberate game that lets you soak in the world and the writing and quests are solid. | ||
