Look folks, colonialism was super friendly and nice. People just moved at first. Once we got settled in, that is when the white people really got to all the violence.
It's definitely a Canadian textbook for elementary students. I remember reading textbooks in that style when I was younger, and you see a map of Upper Canada.
It is a disservice or an over sanitization for the kids to assume everyone just left peacefully and no one complained. The least they could write was "The European settlers and First Nations people often fought over land. The Europeans eventually would take over the land that would be Canada and the United States."
That new Spiderman game sounds real good. They made the swinging real fun, fast and easy to get going. And they made travel and combat swinging/movement two separate things. It sounds like they are making all the right choices with that game, including a full set of villains.
The Sony conference didn't excite me much (probably the abundance of overly scripted gameplay that won't be reflected in the actual product, plus how "cinematic" they try to be), but Spiderman did look kinetic and knew how to have fun.
I am glad they pointed out the combat is not the "batman" combat, but a more arcade classic beat them up style. It is a better decisions and direction for the character. Spiderman is a kinetic character that drives the combat, not one that waits for enemies to attack.
They also seem to give zero fucks about trying to justify anything, which is good. They are going full "You fuckers watch some marvel movies. You know what the raft is. Here are some villains, we do not need to explain them to you. There are wiki's for that shit." Very exciting.
this e3 was... super meh, i think, spiderman, metro, smash ultimate, deamon x machina, re2make, gears of war 5 were the highlights and thats about it... nioh 2 maybe?
also, like i said, death stranding looks incredibly boring, considering the little we have seen, but if that was the game, then it's a nogo for me.
might pick up a cheap xb1 s with game pass preparing for gow 5, also, daily reminder that gears of war is the true gow game

SINGAPORE (The Borowitz Report)—One day before his summit with Donald J. Trump, the North Korean dictator, Kim Jong Un, has offered to host peace talks between the United States and Canada.
Speaking to reporters at his hotel in Singapore, Kim said that the rising tensions between the North American neighbors were posing an “intolerable threat to world peace.”
In addition to offering to host U.S.-Canada talks in Pyongyang, Kim urged the immediate creation of a demilitarized zone along the border separating the two hostile nations.
“In exchange for Canadian Mounties agreeing to stand down on their side of the border, the United States, in turn, would dismantle its nuclear weapons,” Kim said.
Although stating that “North Korea stands ready and willing to be an honest broker” in peace talks between the two countries, he urged Trump to dial back the “inflammatory rhetoric” that he aimed at Canadians over the weekend.
“Violent language and threats have no place in international diplomacy,” Kim said.
