So apparently I'm now the primary dev for a cognos back end app built on IBM's sdk for it using java. I have no idea why they have an intern doing this lol, as it is sort of important. So the person before me wrote 40+ versions of the program and didn't keep notes or comments in the program. Also, they wrote literally every new choice in the GUI in its own public static void class, making the program really inefficient and constantly randomly disappear when you make a new choice, until IG finishes running the new frame.

Just counted 41 static void methods in this program, the vast majority of which are in confusing blocks of code with 0 comments. It may honestly be simpler to rewrite this from scratch than try to figure out wtf is going on and how to work with it
