They are taking interviews about a concept game that CDPR talked about years ago and now trying to claim some ownership of that. They are like comic super fans that freak out when someone has an alternative take on their favorite character. They are so invested in owning that version of what they like that anything different is just wrong. Seriously, that trailer was amazing. It was evocative, called back to older cyberpunk RPG cover art, showed a version of the future that didn't totally center around guns and hyper tech. It set a tone for that game that game that sets it apart from the Deux Ex's of the world. | ||

I like Neuromancer, but William Gibson is was not teh dude to right about human characters. He wrote about ideas and the characters moved through the world to carry his big ideas forward. You can't make an 80 RPG based on that. And also Cyberpunk is not Gibson. Its an RPG based some of Gibson's work and a lot of other stuff. These people bitching don't even know the source material, they just want to whine because they think they own CDPR's products. | ||
