It's the riki that makes it unsafe to be more than a blink away from your cores that scares me, because it makes it unsafe to ward / stack / jungle. The hero is really good. I've had pos 5 support games where I've ended the game within 2k networth and 5k damage to my cores, and that's while being one of the best vision heroes in the game. I can see it not being amazing in actual organised dota, but in pubs its stupid hard to deal with. | ||

On one hand they'd like to ban people for words to virtue signal, on the other Ninja probably makes them money. And it would catch unwanted attention to their shit practices. Everybody knows their rules are whatever feels convenient in that instance. It's like a worse TL since livelihoods are at stake. | ||

Rule one: You can say racist shit if you make money for the service. Rule two: Being a caster for some gaming event, you can be replaced. So don’t say racist shit, because you are just a cog in the big money making machine. Rule three: no matter what horrible shit you say, there will be a legion of players and fans that will defend you every single time. Which is why this garbage will keep happening forever, because on some safe spaces for racism makes companies money. | ||

I could understand people being upset at pewdiepie over his debacle if it was still like 2013 and he hadn't made clear he wasn't trying to be a gaming rolemodel for kids. Even then I believe he didn't actually lash out at anyone over the microphone. So people are already really trying hard to brew a shitstorm. And I have zero patience for streamers who say "I'm not trying to be a role model." If that is the case, get off camera and go get a job someplace where people don't watch you. Pewdiepie cut a deal with Disney and knows exactly who his audience is and how young they are, so I have no problem with him being raked over the coals for asking his fans to draw swastikas and mail them to him. | ||
