Maybe it's not as noticeable if you slowly experienced it over time, but coming back and having more gold available, more options to move around rather than just sit in your lane and watch your carries farm, more ways to stay relevant levels wise, more useful items that actually impact the game available, etc. the game is a lot more bearable as a support. There are a few things that I'd like to see changed here and there that seemed better from before, but overall I'd say that the changes really have been overall great gameplay wise | ||

Playing support is definitely more fun now compared to a couple years ago. Mostly because, like you said, you have more option what you can be doing. And this has had a HUGE impact on pubs, especially the lower MMR brackets. I see it in my legend games, people are way more willing to play supports now compared to before. That is super important for the overall experience of playing dota. | ||

Tobi seems to be taking the legitimacy out of what Kyle is trying to say and it killed their ability to make the game feel interesting. Kyle was right the whole time in the Mineski v iG game, the AM was always going to win after a laning stage that strong, but Tobi kept trying to force the comeback narrative for iG and it just didn't work. I think being realist about the game state is more interesting to listen to than being a pure hype man. Their styles just clash too hard. | ||
