Naw man, who the hell cares about being professional in ESPORTS, that shit is for casuals. *cough* That being said, I agree with Torte on the fact that admins fucked up beyond belief, such is my opinion as well. Should tournament organization have been controlled by Valve, they would be rejected from the group of officially recognized organizers immediately for favouritism. It's a bitch move from EG to do, but considering they care about results, it's fairly natural that they would push for the most optimal environment for them to play in and without a proper arbiter (which jD seems to be lacking, apparently) this will be happening more often than not. Bet my ass they did it due to the fear of EG pulling out and losing potential revenue, 'cause fuck ESPORTS. | ||

Should you expect EG to be ethical? Yes, of course, I'm not saying what they're doing is fair, acceptable or worth praising. Don't mistake my objective view with my own personal ones. It's no different with Union Gaming. You expect them to be fair, like any other team but they aren't and they got their punishment for it. I am stating that although we should expect all teams to be fair and ethical, it's up to the tournaments and admins to enforce that shit. You can condemn EG for their malpractice, but the admins let that shit through. (the rules leave it up to the interpretation of the admins, EG took advantage of it to justify improving their environment) | ||
