What's wrong with Planescape Torment? Original Deus Ex? VTMB? Fallout 2? Also books are all about the story, they are 100% about the story. Movies take a step down and also have the visuals and audio. Games take another step down and also has gameplay. For each additional thing you have to include, the story will end up suffering. But that doesn't mean that all video games have terrible stories. Some stories might end up being simplified or not carry the same depths the medium of for example books are capable of having but that doesn't make them bad or terrible. I compare game stories to other games and look at how entertaining/interesting/immersive they are. | ||
