I am sort of with Kupon on this one that mana isn't a big deal and global regen isn't that awesome. If you compair her to other supports like Dazzle or veng, she is just a bummer. Maybe she just needs a better auto attack or something. Or not to have shoes made of lead.

I think CMs spells are fine honestly, i think icefrog should go against his "buff strengths instead of buffing weaknesses" and just give CM some extra movespeed already and improve her base stats a bit(He can keep the mana pool at level 1 the same)
Edit: CMs aura is honestly fucking great and for a lot of hero that aura can turn stale-mate lanes into won lanes, her spells aren't bad at all, if you just slapped all her spells onto a hero with great base stats and model she would likely be one of the #1 supports.

I have said this about 1000times, so her current aura at lvl2 equals to her aura lvl4 pre-patch, and from my extensive experience of playing her back then (cough hippy dota player cough), lvl4 aura pre-patch is all the bloody mana regen that you are going to need anyway so technically you wont need more than lvl2 aura of the current CM ie technically current CM is capped at lvl23.

I mean, the aura is basically core to her identity as a hero at this point, and even if you think the aura's bad, there are definitely other playable heroes that basically don't have a 3rd skill. Even if you were gonna change her, the last thing I'd do to change her is get rid of the aura.

Just give her agha upgrade global ult. because i dont see why not, judging by the trends from recent patches
(obviously less damage and duration etc). might as well make it an activatable snow weather mode that debuff enemies

I am never sure what to do as CM in lane. I cant babysit because I am too slow to zone any relevant offlaner and I cant pull because my lane partner goes in, dies and flames me for not being there.

If we're following recent trends, the thing to do is obviously give one of her two nukes a spell-specific cast animation (as opposed to just making her cast animation better, cuz it's more confusing this way).

keep the attack range
improve the attack point to 0.3 or 0.4
give her some slightly higher base strength and improve the growth per level to 2.0 per level or something
buff the int back up to 19 or 21
suddenly super viable support again

Yeah, I just reviewed her stats and they are just sad. If they increased them a bit and increased her projectile speed to something that was reasonable, she might be ok. Her move speed sucks, but its not like she really has a problem farming boots currently.
Or maybe someone will find a way to get her into the meta, who knows. Dota is weird. Apparently her and SS have the same attack speed, but I think someone is lying to me there.

CM feels like one of those heroes that needs boots first, so basically she can't solo support.
Like her awful base stats don't seem to gel with the kit that IF gave her - I know hes trying to keep her balanced but she doesn't feel very balanced.

Her projectile speed is fine honestly, just improve her attack point if you want to improve her auto attacks
