TIL the english version of what I love is Lady Finger. We call it Bamya/Okra, it's so delicious oh lord. Just cook it with Onions+Carrots+Tomato Paste n some water, Took awhile to like it though, it has a slimey texture but very tasty.
Brussel Sprouts are bitter and odd tasting, it's all about the preparation method so simple. Just cut em up, drizzle in oil, salt n pepper, chili powder, and some good ol garlic. Bake that shit in the oven, mix it around, get it a lil brown n crispy. Oh baby, I could eat it by the bowls.

I can assure u that losing in heroes is definitely awful
and that game is the farthest thing from welcoming

Gamers sure are sensitive to losing these days.

The players who want competitive games(aka, us) seek them out and play them. I literally have 2 real life friends who play competitive(chess and M:TG). None of them will TOUCH Dota.
My friends who don't play competitive games are way more likely to play Heroes than Dota. 15 minute games and shared experience saves them from being that under farmed/leveled hero that just feeds for the last 15 minutes of a dota match.

Now in regular persons life positive reinforcement is also a big rarity, thanking someone is considered silly when "they're paid to do that" but God forbid they do something wrong. Games are one of the very few places positive reinforcement is not only common but actually abundant. Tumblr circlejerks, mobile games, casual mobas, they all make sure you feel great about participating in them and there's an entire generation that really craves being told they did something well.
But hey, pizza

Yeah, but you didn't lose to other people in Mega Man All my non-competitive friends play Dark Souls and other rough games. But they can just retry if they fail and they are the only ones who saw it.
Also, people play games for different reasons. My girl plays them to take a break from practicing music, not be challenged. Drums are challenging enough.

Ascii is a pretty interesting art form, just making conversation buddy. I'm keeping things LIGHT HEARTED and OFF-TOPIC. Would you rather discuss the difficulty of playing nickelback style songs on drums?
