But I don't think that they did a very good job of "handling" that "issue" at all.
ps i'm not up to speed on lgbt whatever terminology I am going to say that that scenario is no unlikely it did not need rules. Seriously, if that came up you just deal with it with professional judgment and not being total idiots. And why do they have rules for gay players?
Has this ever come up in a professional sport or like anything ever? Why is this Esports group afraid the gay women and transgender players are going to invade on mass? And why would that be bad?

That ESEX tweet right on time

this is the kind of thing that could get coverage outside of the scene for being so silly

It's from Philippines right? Anyone got any insight on how the law treats LGBT there?

i don't think english is their first language so i'll cut them some slack there
i think the most ironic thing about this is that they want to promote equality and fairness but in doing so, they imply that men are inherently superior gamers than women which may be true but still amusing

You shoud be required to send a picture of your genitals before entering any tournament

The best part of this are people on twitter asking how to unlock their lesbian video game super powers to beat their siblings at Mario Cart.

After what happened to a certain story about a certain inflatable doll, this thing might get on local TV if they don't fix it soon

Blah blah, dudes who have never know a transgender person in their lives, but totally heard on reddit that it gives you super powers and the ability to hack computers with their minds. The majority of their exposure to gay women was through "artistic websites" and they also feel safe is saying its an unfair advantage to be that "attractive".
Seriously, the tech and games community have been on a tear recently and people seem to be having their "Hans, are we the baddies?" moments everywhere.

good one!
Also serioulsly, even if you're doing a "women only" tournament, 2 options:
Either you accept anyone that comes and says "I'm a woman, I want to play" or you have to go by IDs for eevery player.
