We are assuming at Aui got kicked and wasn't offered a position on EG when they knew they were losing Zia. The gensis of started the shuffle isn't really known, but I would bet is starts with Puppy kicking a Rainbow.

Aui was confirmed to have been kicked.

we know for a fact aui and PLD got kicked simultaneously before them looking for other teams.
to the best of anybody's knowledge, rtz/zai wanted to leave EG so they talked to ppy+kky who'd been trying to pick them up since TI4, they got picked up so secret booted notail/misery, who ee in turn picked up and booted aui/pld. Then Aui talked to EG looking for a team and ppd/uni agreed to play with aui+sumail (fear mentioned that he wasn't around when that convo happened lol). PLD got the cold shoulder.

Ah, I had not kept up on my Esports drama as much as I should and I assume the order of operations was still unknown. It does seem really weird that c9 would kick Aui for Notail, but maybe they just get along better.

there's a dac interview with fear where he said he was out one night and came back to his team's skype convo where they agreed to play with aui/sumail and somebody had said "i'm sure fear will be okay with this" lol
he wasn't kept in the dark or out of the team or w/e i guess I wasn't very clear there.
