Also yes, only computer game I ever played for like 10 years was BW. Most of my time in HS was put towards Guitar or Sports and any leftover time was for BW. I spammed the shit out of BW when I wasn't in Football or Track season though 
Missed out on pretty much every good computer gaming experience from 2000 to about 2010 which is when I started to actually play other games. Never really got into cs 1.6, never played Dota 1, etc. Although my life growing up was based around NES/SNES/N64 and some early PS1 stuff before I got into Piano/Guitar which was grade 7/8.

HL1 is a classic, but that shit is dated as fuck. Like the first Doom, its hard to go back too.

they were good games at the time but in 2015 just play csgo and dota 2 they're much better at all the stuff around the actual playing of the videogame

hl1 is very dated
most the shooting style games i played growing up though were the ones with 2d style sprites though

engine feels janky as fuck though and i dont know why they made the smg and rifle in hl1 and hl2 innacurate on first bullet that shit sucks

@targe the smg is supposed to be shit at anything other than close range, doesn't make sense but its for balance reasons, medium to long you need magnum or crossbow or whatever.
