People were kicked once in a while as a joke and I don't think anyone had issues with it, although I guess it got out of hand and maybe became malicious when I was away? If so that sucks I guess. idk, I ran a great IRC channel for about 2 years and no one really had any issues with it, I think someone could have just contacted me and said people were being dumb and it would have stopped. | ||

Also, the channel was never meant to be secret, hence the name. It was meant to be a nazi-free place for the LD IRC community free of abusive mods that ruined the other channel. These were the kind of mods that didn't contribute whatsoever to any discussion but would randomly kick/ban etc., on whims for lulz. We've never kicked or banned anyone who found their way into our channel as that was anti-tl.dota policy. We only had Ops to combat any sort of random spammer that might find their way in but thankfully that never happened. Emulator was the creator of the original irc channel but was more of an absent father who never did anything so the channel died and was reborn as #tl.dota. | ||
