juggleguy is trying a new format that they use a lot in Japan
basically you have 4 brackets to start out with where everyone starts in winners like usual
then like top 4 from each bracket advance to "first class"
16 - 5 from each bracket advance to "second class"
64 - 17 from each bracket advance to "third class"
I'm sure those numbers are wrong but the point is that you end up having more matches with people around your skill level and placings are more accurate.
It's a cool system I was just tilted as shit or I woulda stuck around lol.
