Three seasons and I didn't felt the story advanced all that much, maybe it's me. And oh my god can they shut the fuck up and do stuff sometimes?

And oh my god can they shut the fuck up and do stuff sometimes? Dude dragons blood is so bad, or at least season 3 is. It sets up a scope somewhat similar to LOTR where there are pleb humans, demigods, and full-on gods... which makes the first two seasons kind of interesting as you watch the interplay... but season 3 you've (without spoiling anything) got Gandalf nuking part of the planet, Frodo becoming a literal god, Samwise getting raised from the dead multiple times and a bunch of other bullshit that just doesn't add up. This would work if these events were built up towards over the course of a season, but this shit happens like episode 3 in season 3, and then by episode 4 all the super bullshit that happened is -completely irrelevant- like it got dream sequenced away in the middle of a season. Its totally fucked.

Fun place, incredible diversity and lots of things to do - main draw back is that housing sucks. Rent and energy prices are absurd for what you get and most place are old with no insulation, bad windows, mold, etc.. Cool place to visit or stay like 1-2 years though.

We also met a cool couple who rented out their spare room in Greenwich to us. First and only time I've been in a modern mini car was when we got picked up at the station, rather charming person he was. I don't remember much, but they switched out all kitchen appliances as they were switching from a red and white to a black and white theme. Our kind driver was something of a hotel or hospitality manager whose company had made biggg bucks thanks to hosting hoards of workers before and during the Olympics in 2012 and the other was a Bus driver always handing out Oyster cards for their guests he found while on the job. Ours had like 5 Pounds left on them in total or so Fun memories. you're absolutely gonna have to go to Scotland for a wee trip. I'll be there for hogmanay 2023 and can't wait !! (corona permitting)

Yeah like every English stranger was extremely rude. Bunch of people shoving their way past me and bumping into me without ever saying excuse me, there was a lot of sneers and stares, and it was overall a terrible experience dealing with them

I didn't really interact with many locals because we had friends living nearby anyhow. Especially the night time crowd would get bad :/
